I've noticed that it's been taking me longer to wash my face recently.

    Harry Hill?

My Dad and my Mum's Dad balded. I'm not bald, but my hair isn't what it used to be. Have noticed at the front, it's not particularly great.

My Grandad, was very bald, although from the pictures I've seen of him, seem to very very slowly lose his hair.

Any remedies that work? Ironically I don't mind being bald, but the thought of watching it fall out does nothing for me.

I'm amazed the article attached to that discussion page doesn't have an entry for 'muffin'. I'd go and edit it...but I can't be arsed.

I'm 37 years old. Got a widow's peak and the grey hair has started to march rapidly across my scalp in the last couple of years.

Considering my dad went completely bald in his mid-twenties, I don't think I'm doing too badly.

Much to the annoyance of all my balding friends, my hair is as stupidly thick at its ever been.

I used to curse it when I was younger as it was impossible to grow long without looking like a hedge, but now its paying dividends.

Im also slightly looking forward to becoming a silver fox. I think I will look super sophisticated.

I'm 29 and have been reliably informed by several hairdressers I will never ever go bald.

    No grey yet either.

35ish and a few greys....the wife reckoned I was thinning on top, so I struck her eyes out with a dagger.

36 and no problems as yet. I've had about 3 grey hairs in the last 5 years.

Why would a hairdressers opinion be reliable on the subject of balding? Do they study genetics at beauty school?

Same for me actually (other than that I don't smoke) at 27. Blonde hair doesn't really help...

/has been voted "person most likely to be completely bald first" in high school, due to well receded hairline

I have a friend who was VERY thin-on-top at aged 30. Then he had cancer, and went through the whole chemo thing, so it all fell out. BUT... after the chemo ended it grew back thicker than ever, and now (aged 35) he still has a very hearty mop.

In my late 20's I started receding (parking mini's) and developed a small 'helicopter pad' on me crown. But now at 33 the receding has actually reversed and the 'copter pad hasn't spread.

Must be my superior genetic make up.

Nope, full head of jet black hair*. (Some) Italian genes for the muthafuckin' win. My dad isn't grey yet, and he's in his 60s.

    * Thankfully the hair does not continue to grow further down my back and shoulders. Or my chest.

I also have a carpet of hair all over my back and chest. it really is quite obscene. The ladies love it though. All primal and that...
