I'm not... yet. Next year will see my 30th year of existence, and I'm quite looking forward to the hair falling out :)

I had a bit of a panic when I was about 19/20, but now, four years on, my hair seems thicker than ever.

It is, however, going grey at a rate of knotts.

Nope, not even slighly - which can be confirmed by anyone who's seen my barnet recently.

Who is it you're meant to inherit baldness from? My father's side has good hair, but isn't it something like your maternal grandfather?

No baldness, but a few grey hairs for me as well :(

I will start using hair dye though, not going to accept this!

I'm hoping the sides will go grey first before the top, to add an air of refinement.

I'm looking forward to total greyage - means I won't have to bleach anymore before applying any colour I want.

At the moment, all I have is a morticia-like streak coming off my fringe, which is almost cool.

-- boobs do nothing for me, I want moustaches and chest hair.

I am. Thin as a ploughed field at the top and fading around the sides.

I spent most of my day yesterday shaving my head.

Can't wait for the full Picard.

Flipping right, "luxuriant" was the word I think I used at the last geekmeet. Mal has lovely hair :)

No chance of me going bald I hope :) I think there might be one or two greys in there somewhere but not too many. I'm 25 so I expect them to start appearing soon though. Not that I'd notice as I dye my hair.

I thought all grey hair was actually just transparent? It only looks grey because of reflections off the internal an external surfaces of the hair.

You probably have very thick hair if they're obviously transparent.

I'm 26, not going bald but I am going grey!

    Just like souljah in fact.

If I started going bald, I'd have to shave the whole lot off...

Thought I was until I looked back (with horror) at some old school photos and it became evident that I've always had a ridiculously high hairline. Not sure whether to laugh or cry.

Im 23 but Im getting very worried - my maternal grandfather had homer hair and my older bro is hiding his recession with a flopping fringe.

My looks are pretty reasonable but Im well aware that any kind of baldness just wouldnt work with my face.

Oh grey hairs. I like mine, they're the only thing that makes it apparent I'm not 18 or something.

Been receding above the temples for about 3 years and the fringe has been thinning this past year. 31 soon.
    No bald spot yet!

I am definitely NOT going to hide it when it comes though - went to a wedding once and saw this guy, probably similar age to me, who had receded from both temples up until they joined. However he had retained this little tuft of a fringe between them, like a breathtaking river delta, which he had obviously let grow and had fluffed it up to try and hide the baldness. I *really* felt like going up to him and saying "Look mate, that's ridiculous. Just let it go."

Anyone else seen any hilariously obvious attempts to hide baldness?

Luckily us girlies don't tend to go bald. Although I was losing a hell-of-a-lot of hair friday night, but that was more due to someone else! ;)

My maternal grandfather has a full head of hair in his mid-sixties, but I'm been constantly worried about my for the past couple of years.

However, I think a good deal of it comes down to over-dying, and especially over-bleaching, as I once has half my hair near-white.

If I follow the ways of the late Boo senior, then I'll die with a full head of hair, but in about 5 years time it'll go from dark brown to something akin to Dulux Brilliant White in the space of about 6 months.

At which point I shall cease using my 'boo' nick and become...

I'm 31 and my hair is starting to thin out at the front and I can see where I'm gonna go bald. Its been a good innings and hair.....it breaks my heart to see you go but we both knew it could not last forever....

    /sob!

Got quite a few white ones btw......very distinguished against my auburn mane...

When it starts looking really rank I'm just shaving the frickin' lot.
