I'll personally slap anyone who forgets Dark Chronicle. It's so obviously great that everyone should have at least two copies.

Had the chance to pick up Dark Chronicle for 12, dithered and lost out. Please don't hit me.

Still, the list grows... I'm not made of money y'know.

Yes I played the OPS2M demo against my son, and we had a great laugh. I had to let him win for a bit, but once he got the hang of it, it was a really good laugh. :)

And avaliable here for swap. All games considered (can be found towards the bottom of the page).

Beyond Good & Evil would be my pick. I know most people on here didn't overlook it but generally it sold worse than a Michael Jackson childcare video.

Deathrow for xbox. Pretty much as close to Speedball 2 as you will get on the current gen.

Beyond Good and Evil. No need to tell me about that one. Another of the great gaming travesties (if thats how you spell it....).

So far then: Gregory Horror Show, SOS, Dark Chronicle, Project Zero 1 & 2..... Plus I've seen all but DC for under a tenner. May well indulge in one or two of these by close of play today......

    Just no-one tell the wife.

I (and several of the other survival horror fans on here) very much enjoyed 'Obscure', by the way. Should be dirt cheap now, too.

Many people played it here, including me.

It was "ok" for a while. But it was most certainly not "free".

They had great potential, but fucked it up big time.

Aggressive Inline - I expected it to be a crap Tony Hawk's rip-off, but it was actually quite good. Not my style of game, but fun nonetheless.

I've got SH2 sat in my collection, but have never got around to it. I'm playing though Res Evil 4 (and looking for my next fix), and am interested what makes you say SH2 is the most mature game ever concieved. Details Blerk, details!!

Oh and I'd say most underated game would have to be Panza Dragoon Orta it is one of my all time favs.

I can't tell you without spoiling half the surprises in the game. It's the story. The story is possibly the best story I've ever seen in a game. Seriously. You get to the end and think.... fuck! I can't believe they did all those things! In a game!

It craps all over all other survival horror stories, and every single horror movie released in the last... ever.

Resi 4's story is embarassingly wafer thin in comparison.

Phantom Crash on xbox, I think I might be the only person in the UK who bought it. Fantastic game, if it had LIVE it would be even better

I enjoyed that as well. Too few levels/arenas though.

When you say Freedom fighters you dont meean the console versions do you? I remember downloading the demo for pc ages ago and thought it was a great laugh, bought it sometime later on the xbox and it was positively awful... the aiming was all over the place and dont even get me started about those black and white buttons... better controls on ps2 maybe?

I think I've said this in every "under-rated games" thread since 1999....Hostile Waters on PC. Such a cool game.

Right then.... GAME online are selling Gregory Horror Show for 4.99, I've found Metal Arms in the Amazon market place for 5.70....

Then there's SOS for 7.50 again on marketplace, Freedom Fighters for about 6 and Project Zero 2 for a tenner on PLAY.

Now, say I was to go for 2 of these......

Finally got around to picking up Klonoa 2 for ps2 this week.... And I love it! I have been looking out for it since seeing it on the EG Bluffers guide last year, and it's got me thinking about any other gems (ps2 only I'm afraid) I may have overlooked. Suggestions please?

I've been pimping that game for blimmin YEARS now! Glad someone picked up on it. It's a brilliant game. As is Gregory Horror Show

    I have, it's very good.

Metal Arms was also very good, Swing Ape are something to look out for in the future. They're doing the Starcraft Ghost game, I believe.

SOS: Final Escape. Hard to track down but a second hand copy shouldn't set you back more than 8 quid. Sort of survival horror where the horror is an earthquake rather than monsters. Crap voice acting, poor textures, nondescript graphics but compulsive stuff. Short and sweet.

My copy was 3 on ebay last week. not had chance to play yet though :/

people mention beyond good and evil too, which I also got for 3 recently :)

Agreed . . . . . . though to my shame, I still haven't finished it. As ever, I got distracted by something else when I was about two thirds of the way through . . . . .

I'd throw Panzer Dragoon Orta and Metroid Prime 2: Echoes (well, no-one bought it . . . . . . fools) into the mix as well.

Betrayal At Krondor, which you can d/load for free too.

PS2 games? Wild ARMs 3 is massively under-rated within the RPG community.
