Netflix is increasing its spending to $7 billion on original shows alone. This has to be funded somehow. It's a small rise. Nothing to see here.

50p extra a month? Robbing bastards! How will I tell my non-existant kids that I'll have to buy them one less pack of crisps a month?!

If you're a pauper student try a mobile phone package that includes Netflix.

Really?! Are these really cheap nasty Aldi crisps? Even multipacks of Asda Brand crisps are £1 for 6.

I think Dougs means per bag not per multi-pack.

Arrgh, it's now a nightmare of equating the cost of single and multipack crisps. This is really going to confuse my non-existant kids as they go hungry because I want to watch Bojack Horseman and Always Sunny. Poor little fictional bastards.

I can sell you some fictional crisps for 25 fictional pence per bag.

When did you last call up Virgin and tell them you were thinking of leaving? If the answer is never, do it now. As long as you're out of the contract period they'll lower your bill and exempt you from the rises. I do it every year and pay about £20 less than I did a couple of years ago.

I've done the same with Sky broadband for the last 3 years. This time I didn't even have to get on the phone with them, just went to cancel online and they offered me my Internet package free for a year.

There is a semi clever phishing mail going around saying we are sorry you are cancelling Netflix due to the price increase. So don't click the link in it if you are drowsy one morning :)
