Not strictly gaming, but digital entertainment all the same.

Personally iíve never paid a penny to Netflix or Amazon video and just signed up with multiple email addresses for free trials on the odd occassiaons.

Does anyone else in the UK actually subscribe to these services for video, if so what do you watch?

Not as drastic in percentage terms as the last rise, thankfully.

@JiveHound you say people do, but does that mean yourself as a UK resident? What do you watch on it?

Seems fair enough for a shit load of content and that they aren't afraid to have a punt on original, decent shows.

Always something worth watching on Netflix, its better value for money than the shitload I spend on virgin TV.
  • Deleted user 5 October 2017 21:39:29
Shit, man. Shame my salary hasn't gone up to accommodate.
  • Deleted user 5 October 2017 21:40:54
I get my money's worth out of it each month anyway. I rarely watch TV now except for a bit of cheeky Bake Off :)

It's better value than standard TV for sure. The original content alone makes it worth the subscription.

But you care about it enough to spend any of your time creating a thread then lingering in it.

    Ok.

Netflix is probably the thing I watch most, star trek, stranger things, bojack horseman, rick and morty, black mirror, I'm even working my way through old stuff like red dwarf or big bang theory. I always find something to watch.

I dip in and out of other things like now tv for Got or WD, but Netflix I've been with for ages...

It's for sure the best on offer since they overhauled their model to focus on their own content.

I don't watch a lot on it really but still have it, it's nice to just bang something on with minimal hassle when you are tired. And regularly TV is awful and extortionate.

Suppose a more relevant question night be "is anyone actually happy paying the extortionate monthly fees the likes of Sky, BT and Virgin charge"?

I'd love the football channels but around fourty quid a month is a pisstake, and they don't even give you the HD channels at the lower tiers! Cunts.

I only eat by hanging around the wheelie bins around the back of Greggs at closing time. Does anyone actually pay for food and if so what?

Is there much 4K content in Netflix? They're raising the top tier prices more significantly. That's probably due to people sharing accounts rather than demand for 4K content. I share my 2 screen tier with my brother and his family.

So itís gone up by a £1. Thatís nothing compared to the robbing cunts that are virgin. I get a letter through the post every so often stating they will raise my bill by £4 a month. 4 fuckin quid?! How can you justify that
