    my current faves are

Ultrawings - really immersive, can be both relaxing and stomach churning and the dev is active on reddit and they've made regular updates. My best VR game just pre-xmas.

Ping pong - got it really cheap at xmas and it's basic but the gfx are sharp and you feel like you are playing table tennis

Farpoint - finally got this xmas day. need to play more as Ultrawings has taken up time

Shooty fruity - very clever game, although I've had issues with tracking on the left move controller.

Diner duo - great game to play with my 8 year old daughter, with her shouting out the orders and me making up the burgers etc :)

suprisingly haven't played Skyrim since xmas, but need to go back to that one again.

Superhot VR and Statik are both fairly short.

Although Superhot VR requires quite a bit of skill and Statik quite a lot of observation / problem solving.

Both are probably completable in an hour if you are a super skilled genius. (Or about 4 hours each if you are like me).
Am I correct in thinking that you need the Move controllers for Superhot VR? I'd love to give that a go but I just can't see myself splashing another £50 on those things (well, not at the moment).

Yes you do. Well worth it though. I didn't think Moves were essential for PSVR until I played Superhot :)

Nooo, I don't want to hear that! :D I wish I had bought them from CEX when they were £18 each.

Does anyone know if Ultrawings is going to support the HOTAS 4 stick? I'm hugely tempted by it.

Just finished playing through Superhot VR which was awesome, but still want to go back and finish off the challenges which are pretty tough.

Finished the lost bear which was a great short game.

Started the Robinson The Journey which is very interesting.

    Cannot wait for the inpatient.

Is doom vfr worth it if you only have move controllers and not the gun thing. All of the positive reviews I've read have been in relation to the gun thing

The problem I have this vr thing is I can't be arsed to put the headset on and charge the various controls plus headphones. Then it steams up, and endless trying to adjust it, thinking "is this right". Then I get stabbed in the face by a monster. And it's like wow yeah, that is cool. Definitely not selling this.

But then I can't check my smartphone while playing or stuff my face with crisps or listen to music, or see who's breaking into my flat to kill me. It's a shame. I like watching visitors play it more than myself. Even though I appreciate it.

That's strange. My PSVR has never once steamed up. My Gear VR does, I think because of the heat from the phone, but not PSVR. I do agree it can seem like hassle sometimes though.

The aim controls aren't that good TBH. There's some immersion breaking decisions have made. I found it ok, but only played 1/2 hour as other games (got the Aim at xmas) have sucked up my time.

DS4 is meant to be better than the moves in Doom

mine steams up for the first 5 minutes. I basically select a "starter" game, such a GT, let it steam up f then move via the button the visor away from my face, then back again. Normally have to do that about 3 times. It's due to the screens heating up and the difference between the heat of your head and the screens.

I think it depends a lot on how warm the headset is wherever you store it. It shouldn't steam up if it is warm. I store mine in a cool cupboard so I do what mattyduk describes, no big deal :-)

Mine steams up for the first 5 minutes too, but only because I cram my face right onto it for MAXIMUM IMMERSION! If I leave a small gap, it's usually fine :)

Switch it on a few minutes before you strap it to your face, then the glass has time to warm up.

This. Someone suggested this a while back and I do it every single time now. Turn it on while turning on the PS4 and it gives it time to warm up whilst getting a game on

Ah, thanks for the steamy windows tip, guys!

Played through the whole of Batman VR this morning. - short but oh-so sweet. Bloody terrifying in places - I wrenched the headset off twice and had lots of awkward 'pause' moments.

Yep and leaving it still for 30 seconds also seems to help the tracking work better IMO (presumably because it allows the accelerometers to calibrate or whatever)

I put the VR goggles on my window sill which is a above the radiator a couple of minutes before I start playing. The heat from the radiator warms the goggles so I have no fogging. If I put them on 'cold' I spend the first 15 minutes wiping them all the time.

Not that we get any but careful of leaving lens in view of direct sunlight, at any angle.

Haven't been here for a while. Has skyrim VR been patched yet to use smooth movement on the moves?

@quadfather It has indeed. I still much prefer using the controller though. Find my wavey hands all over the place abit weird.

Starting to really enjoy Skyrim though, it was tough at first, but it's really grown on me once I got past the first difficult bit.

Have we got any serious fighter pilot games? Ace Combat 7 is out this year, but it doesn't support VR in the main game, only on a select few side missions.

Or a serious strategy game I think could work really well.

Aha, cheers, thanks for the info. Just need to find the 10 hours spare to play it now :)

On the back of a number of recommendations in this thread I got Thumper in the sale. I'll be going back to check names and apportion blame accordingly if it turns out to be shit ;0)

And I am now part of the PSVR gang. Still need to get some Move controllers to play Superhot and a few others though.

do you have to put something over the sensor to ensure the screens inside the headset don't auto turn off ?
