    @RelaxedMikki I wouldn't worry too much about the level recommendations, very soon you'll be doing missions 200+ levels above you like it's nothing. As long as you invest in your skills the right way and keep your gear upgraded you should stay ahead of the curve.

    Early reports of the PC version aren't fantastic. It's not a terrible port - it's just about competent and avoids being horribly broken, but it has a few odd design choices (half the graphic options in the launcher, the other half in-game) and performance levels aren't as good as you'd expect from a not-that-pretty game.

    Complaining about the graphics in Nioh is like complaining about the graphics in Pacman.

    Seriously tempted to pick up the complete edition on ps4. Never played it before and a massive Bloodborne fan.

    It's on PSN now, not sure about a physical release though.

    Kind of tempted myself but I'm sure it will be cheaper in a few weeks.

    I have checked and it looks like a physical release is not going to happen. I think the season pass is £20, I will probably get it on psn.

    Can you still not co-op with pals in this if one of you hasn't done the level? Any sort of workaround?

    You can co-op with friends. There is a password system for co-op.

    Doesn't one of us need to complete the stage in order to co-op though? As in me and a friend can try a stage together at the same time unless one of us has already completed it?

    Really enjoying the PC version. That boss on the ship is a bit of a difficulty spike.

    Looks and plays pretty great on my PC. Seems good after about an hour, definite Dark Souls flavour but it also seems really different.

    @Rhaegyr

    They changed the way co-op works with the "Yokai Realm"

    https://www.google.co.uk/amp/www.eurogamer.net/amp/2017-07-31-nioh-patch-makes-loot-gathering-way-more-convenient

    I haven't played co-op at all in this yet. I am about 2/3rds through and it works great as a single player only experience.

    Looking into that it seems like one of you will need to have unlocked the level beforehand.

    I've no doubt it's a great single player experience (I'm loving it so far), it's just that there's so few meaty co-op games I'd hoped to run through this with a friend the 'traditional' way.

    Seriously trying to resist this on PSN - the complete edition. Might have to be a combo present.

    Nioh is reduced to £35 on PSN at the moment. But in the previous big sale it was down to £20 (with the season pass at £13).

    May be worth waiting for a Christmas sale?

    That is what I am thinking, it is bound to be on sale.

    @Decks

    I am pretty sure you have to actually finish Nioh before you start stressing about how to pronounce it. 😜

    Got really bored of this after the initial couple of hours. Feels like a PS1 game combat wise and there's about 7000 items and menus to look at after 5 mins of combat.

    Turned it off after i got to the world map stage select thing. Just couldn't be arsed. Will try again tomorrow and see if it clicks.

    It clearly does not feel like a PS1 game in any way. There is a lot of depth to the combat system.

    However, that's my opinion. I enjoyed Nioh immensely, others may not enjoy it at all

    I really rate the combat system so far ( 3 bosses in ).

    I just wish that there were more PC players to talk with.

    Gone Dual Sword and it's great fun.

    At that price I'm tempted to pick it up again and grab the season pass as well this time. I really loved Nioh.

    I think I'm going to have to. I really missed it since I sold it. Can't even remember why I sold it. To buy something I liked far less I think. Fucking idiot.
