Just come home to see my boys watching old 90's episodes of Goosebumps on Netflix. Watching it thinking, "I know that kid from somewhere...", realised it was a young Hayden Christensen! I see his superb acting skills started at a young age!

For me I think Rey will be Han & Leia's daughter and the sister of Ren (Rey & Ren see)

They probably were split up at a young age following some Jedi training when it was decided it was dangerous to keep them together

Yeah I've thought this before tfa, and although there's the maz comment "who's the girl" to han that cut to another scene, I'm not so sure. It would be a bit too much of a stretch going by the way everyone acted around her, I could buy her being Luke's much more. But in truth I don't really have a solid feel for which way it's going.

    Clearly she's Watto's daughter.

Rey being Han and Leia's daughter wouldn't work, plus it would just seem proper hackneyed. Obviously we'll find out her parentage soon enough. On another note saw TFA on Netflix last night, Daisy Ridley cannot act.

Kylo Ren's real name is Ben Solo. He has the name Ren because he's the leader of the Knights of Ren.

Also Leia knew where Rey had been living before Finn found her. If she'd abandoned her daughter on Jakku and then a force filled woman from Jakku turns up, surely she'd know who she was?

She can't be a Kenobi unless Obi-Wan had a secret child, then that secret child had another child which they randomly abandoned on Jakku. Obi-Wan died before Rey was born. TFA is set 30 years after Return Of The Jedi and Rey ain't 30.

Daisy Ridley has said that she thinks TFA made it obvious who her parents were. That's either mis direction, which wouldn't surprise me, or its Luke.

Luke and Leia. Rey was dumped on a planet due to incest shame.

If it is the case then she probably does know but she's not going to say immediately "Oh it's the daughter I abandoned on Jakku, hi again, nice to see you"

Leia does seem very maternal to Rey as soon as she meets her

She may be a child of the Force. That's where the midichlorians come in!

You may be joking, but every day I wake up and pray* this isn't going to be their plan.

    *A slight exaggeration.

You mean you don't like the fact that Lucas turned the force into Yakult?

Easy for her to say when she's armed with insider knowledge

This is true, there's certainly some strange behaviour there like when she makes a beeline for her and not chewie on their return. Maybe this was intentional as it certainly seemed odd to everyone that it was this way.

If this is the case it would be a bit of a cheap cop out for me, basically that outcome doesn't quite sit with me up to now.

I think that was more down to losing scenes in the edit and not changing the one where Leia meets Random Girl and hugs her instead of her dead husbands’ bff

Mistake by J.J which he's commented on saying her and Chewie should have had a moment in that scene.

If she was then Han did a bloody good job of pretending not to know her. If she was Han and Leias surely Kylo would know?

Also why does she have to be related to anyone?

Han gave some significant guilty looks when Rey wasn't looking... when she said "I've never seen so much green in my life" or something like that getting off the Falcon. Han immediately looked guilty as fuck, for whatever reason. I don't think she's related, but I think he knows something.
