    (Goddammit, no "Food" section either.)

So what's your favourite reheated-bread topping then?

Me - Peanut Butter and Jam.

    (Is bored, and hungry)

Peanut butter (Crunchy), worchester sauce and a cheese slice. And, if I've got any in, lettuce.

Edit: With a steaming hot cup of coffee, two sugars.

Marmite and fried egg. Or Marmite and tinned spaghetti. Or cheese - mixed with mustard powder and paprika.

I went to Austria once, where I had 'Florida Toast.' It was ham, then cheese on top and the pineapple on top of that. Yuuuum!

    Boy am I hungry.

YUM! Sounds like a hawaiian pizza that does.

Vegemite and melted cheese toasteds - practically lived off these in NZ.

Moses went to Mount Sinai. It was Jesus that went to mount Olive, doing huge damage to his reputation in the process.

That'll be Worcester(shire) sauce. I used to live a couple of hundred yards from the Lea & Perrins factory; it don't smell nice...

Put some tomato sauce/puree on the bread first and you have a mini pizza :p

Also, may I suggest Bacon flavour Super Noodles? Very filling but tasty all the same.

Bacon super noodles = burping bacon for hours though.

Toast with butter and marmite and a big mug of coffee with lots of milk and sugar. The best.

Not a big fan of toast but if it must be done then it's lemon curd all the way... yum.

Decent salted butter and proper brown bread. That's it. I don't actually eat bread anyway :-o

It's all about the marmite. Or if it's a toast sandwich I can confirm that sausages and marmalade are a very nice combo

If we are talking toast, then it has to be proper wholemeal toast, with a bit of butter, and a layer of decent tart raspberry conserve (must have seeds !), washed down with a nice mug of black coffee.

What i had for breakfast in fact.

Don't know if this counts as toast per se but..

    Get one slice of bread
Cut middle out with an upturned mug
Put in frying pan with some olive oil.

Brown a bit, then break an egg into the middle
Fry one side, then flip, fry the other

    Serve with Mango Chutney

Oh - the little circle of bread you cut out - next time the catholics around you can pretend to be a priest or something.

Tuna & Mayonnaise, spread thickly over the toast, very little butter. Preferably on whole grain bread.

    /hums

    Brown bread, white bread.
    All sorts of wholemeal bread.
It comes in funny packages with writing on the side.

    /mumble, mumble

so I'm sitting there, in my high chair
rubbing my eggy soldier in my hair.
And I'm looking around for something I can eat.
And I see the bread bin, with it's mouth open.
    Just looking at me like.
And I think 'Oh yeah - I'll have toast'.
