Initially. The end is one combat area after another and they drag on for far too long. Seriously tried my patience.|
I think there's a retrospective on this here on EG.

Oh wow. Heard the name dropped a lot since moving to PC, picked it up in a sale a while ago and finally installed it this week (Halloween downloaded so a few horror games). Nabbed the unofficial patch and had a go and this is great. Not got far in but very much looking forward to sinking into it and murder my backlog.
Very nice looking game (tried the ENB for it but had some trouble with dark cutscenes I couldn't figure out sadly - yet) and great atmosphere already and so much to it I'm loving it. I mean I'm sneaking around a hospital trying to nick drugs (I can't skill to low to pick the lock) and I find a girl in pain dying alone in a room, I rush to find a doctor, he's busy, I give her my blood and save her, she's thankful and has questions, I break in hero mode and tell her how I saved her, DOH! She freaks calls for help and I get shot! Yeah baby!

I feel like I need to say I love this game, evey time someone brings it up
And now I feel like playing it again
I've rolled 5 different characters but never completed it. I always get up to THAT point and think "fuck this".
