@Ror Is that an original Nier spoiler? I really liked that side quest there is a secondary part to it which requires collecting all the weapons and fully upgrading them that i didn't bother with

@Graxlar_v2 No spoiler, as nothing really happens, but yes, related to the first game.

Just completed route A. Bit annoyed as I wasn't expecting the final fight to end without me being able to mop up side quests. Does this mean I effectively have to do them all over again in B?

Shame that's basically all it was :( I'd like to see this follow up part that Grax mentioned above, but I don't know if I can be bothered to collect all the weapons this time - it seems like there are a lot more than in the first game?

Don't worry. There is plenty of chance to mop up... you continue, rather than starting over.

Since this has been bumped, there are a couple of free nier PS4 themes on the store. Theme B in particular is lovely.

If you haven't done it yet there is at least one other 'challenge' related to that stuff before the all weapons one. Hopefully this is non spoilery enough. I didn't get all the weapons myself as too much stuff to play at the moment, although I did get most of them...

@One_Vurfed_Gwrx Is it obvious what you have to do for this? I've seen no follow up from that quest, and I must be nearing the end of Route B now.

Emil? All I've done is finding the Lunar Tears. Nothing further seems to have come of that.

@Ror Have you found his house after getting the tears? Not the one from the shopping centre.

@One_Vurfed_Gwrx Ah, no. I remember him saying he lives deep underground, now that you mention it.

Just a heads-up: qwertee.com has a rather nice t-shirt available for purchase today (for 11) and tomorrow (for 13), featuring Nier's 2B showing a bit too much thigh for those brave enough not to be embarrassed by it

Disclaimer: I'm not not affiliated with either the store or the artist...

@JonFE I have no shame, how is the quality of their tees?

Variable. Ive got 4 t-shirts from there, 3 are decent quality and the 4th I got a couple of weeks ago used a really shitty quality shirt that was a really odd shape.

Cheers Nick. I may as well take a punt for nine quid.

Redbubble are my goto for geeky shit at the minute, the quality is generally pretty great. They've normally got 20% off things every few days as well.

Shit loads of Nier stuff if that's what you're looking for.

Bloody hell, there's tons there. Cheers Decks.

EDIT That one might be a step too far, though.

    @Ror

I've got a lot of t-shirts from them (many more than my missus would like) and I've got no complains, they stay in shape after washing (apart from a couple of white ones) and so far I haven't got any with washed-up or broken print.

Of course you have to factor in the cheap price and the competition - a couple I have bought from teepublic.com felt sturdier but the print was a bit sticky.

@Decks: Thanks for the link :)

I like that they went to the effort of adding a little hint of camel toe on this one

@Ror I initially thought they were the same so didn't find the real location until near the end of the game.

Awesome. I'm not sure I'll get away with that on dress down Fridays though.

    I don't know, I guess it'd depend what else you're wearing.

Also, say what you will, but at least they didn't go full on futa with it...

    >.>

    Ahem.

@JonFE Cheers Jon, good to know. Again, worth a punt for a tenner (I got a quid off for signing up, so the tee + p&p came to 10.50).

@One_Vurfed_Gwrx Yeah, I can see how that could be confusing. I might have to look it up so I'm not wandering around aimlessly.

I must be missing something terribly basic, but how do I avoid the horizontal buzzsaw swipes in the Prologue? I cannot jump above them, and dodging usually just means I get hit a second latter...

    Any pointers?

aye. as decks says, its just constant spamming of dodge then picking your moments to attack...
