Why would you ask Commander Shepard to do your DIY?

    He'd get it done.

    BOOM!

@Kichijoten I guess that's where we're different. If I had sex with Emma Watson all night and she'd fart in my ear next morning just before she leaves, I'd still count that as a massively good time.

Five minutes that you didn't enjoy at the end doesn't take away the enjoyment you had up until that point.

It does however make me not want to repay the whole series again as you have nothing to look forward to.

Apart from the minute-to-minute gameplay, or the ending of ME 1 and 2.

But I didn't think the ending was that bad personally, so maybe I don't understand the sentiment.

ME1 was my fave as it introduced the characters and story. I loved the exploration, slower pace of it, it was more about discovering the universe and lore. Also, Saren was great, a proper villain!

ME2 was the best actual game in terms of enjoyment IMO, and the ending was fantastic. New characters like Legion, Mordin and Thane were great additions. Brilliant game.

ME3 was too mainstream, forgot what made it great, it tried to be overly epic, and the end was a load of fucking absolute nonsensical dogshit cunt bastard bollocks that I won't forget!

However, I've heard that Bioware have turned things back recently with DA:I, so might give this a chance.

@Latin Over at the Bioware forums there are plenty of people that say the side quests in DA:I were pants. I'd suggest keeping an open mind about ME:A until it launches and there is plenty of feedback. I agree that ME 2 was the best, though I enjoyed three more than one.

They've already said they're not going to go down the Dragon Age: Inquisition model, which I'm glad. I enjoyed DA:I a lot, but the side quests were essentially "collect stuff" and very bland. Also the main story was shit and the team you made were rather forgettable.

Ah, sounds as if DA:I wasn't so good then... The benchmark I will set for this is the Witcher!

If it isn't as good, it can piss off.

N7 day is almost here, but sadly, there won't be "any major announcements for Mass Effect: Andromeda this N7 Day". THIS HURTS ME.

But there will be some branded consoles, and, I guess, more than just two of those staff statements:

    @Latin

DA:I covered its main story very well, and made the game feel epic. The rest of the game had an endless run of collection quests though, which soured the experience.

I've only just started on the Witcher 3, but it does seem to concentrate far more on making each side quest a fully rounded experience so far.

As far as DA: I goes, they had to scrap some systems/quest design stuff to get the game working on old-gen consoles, so I guess that's why it ended up full of fetch/collection quests.

Which I did all of @_@

    Fun fan theory from Reddit:

First American man in space was Alan Shepard. The main character from the ME trilogy was apparently called "Shepard" in his honour.

First American woman in space was Sally Ride.
Then there is this name tag from the newest trailer, which suggests the main character to be called "Ryder" or "Rider":

    Now comes the fun part:

Commander Shepard was part a Spectre (SPEcial Tactics and REconnaissance). Another word for spectre is ghost.

The music from the first trailer was Johnny Cash's "Ghost Rider in the Sky".

Sounds like its just concept stuff from years ago. The game isn't due out until next year to my understanding, I guess they might reveal something about it at E3. I'm not that excited, I'd rather see a new IP from Bioware or a neglected one like Jade Empire. Mass Effect 3 put a bullet in the skull of this series for me, I can only expect Andromeda will be even dumber and more action oriented.

E3 only gave us a dev diary type video and no concrete info, but better than nothing and boy does it look pretty:

Looks great, but I was hoping for a proper trailer to set the scene. I guess it's still a fair way out.

@Ror They said more info will be coming in the fall, which would be around 6 months before release in Q1 2017.
