It was an odd episode indeed. I had this exact thought too - the scene with the girl and the Commodore 64. I'm genuinely confused about whether Wellick is real or not.

Saw the first two episodes of season 1 tonight after months of folk raving about it. Didn't do anything for me at all. Mish mash of Fight Club and pseudo anti-capitalism with the cliched anti-social hacker.

The final episode wasn't yet up on Amazon Prime when I left the house. Hoping I can find wifi good enough at EGX to download it for the train home

A decent finale to an uneven season. To me, Ecorp moving all of their paper records to one location is asking for trouble. Assuming that they haven't made copies (Elliot and co. do realise that it's possible to make copies of paper documents, right?). But I did like the confrontation between Elliot/Robot/possibly-not-real-Tyler.

Overall I don't think I enjoyed it as much as the first season, but I do appreciate the creator trying to branch out and experiment. I'll definitely be back for number 3!

An interesting conclusion to the series. I'll be on board for more

Felt a bit disappointed, mainly because I thought it was going to be wrapped up this season. Didn't clock it was going to S3 till the final episode.

It's good but I hope it doesn't end up going Matrix with a fantastic start and terrible final.

First series was much better for me.. didn't feel all that excited watching any particular episode this time around.. I'll still be back for more, though

I didn't really enjoy the show cleverly pulling the wool over our eyes in terms of what is real and what wasn't. I'll admit, I was fooled and really only clocked on that perhaps all is not what it seemed after reading discussion pieces on each episode. And yes, it was clever. But seeing the final episode, I wish that they had fleshed the surprises that came about in the episode throughout the season, because I think that season 3 will now feel exactly like what season 2 should have been.

    4/10 for the entire season.

I was under the assumption that the latest episode was the penultimate episode, but oh boy that would have been better...

    Season 1 is still king.

    What's the verdict on S2?

S1 started out a humdinger, slumped a bit and then picked up towards the end.
I've watched 3 eps of S2 and it's boring as hell. Elliot wandering about trying to ignore an increasingly nuts Slater and that's it. Does it improve?

It's worth watching because it goes to some really interesting places, but it isn't as good as S1 overall.

Season 2 is still worth watching, personally I enjoyed it more than season 1, which sometimes left me feeling a bit bored.

I though season two was rather crap. Loved season one though.

So if you didn't fall in love with S01 then just let S02 go.

@boo You definitely should watch until Episode 7 at least. Then you might as well finish it.

Love the use of this music in the S2 finale:

Season 2 is absolutely worth watching, but it's nowhere near as good as the first season. Really looking forward to season 3 in supposedly a few months.

I hope this manages to crawl out of its own ass for season 3 but I worry it wont because it just went so far up there for Season 2 that it will never get out.

...Just bought season 2. Still time for a refund?

To be fair, I've heard nothing but bad things about it, seems like a one season wonder. And season 1 was wonderful.

People are overreacting. Season 2 was fine.

And even if it wasn't, you'd still presumably need to watch it to understand what's going on in S3.

I managed to get through series 2 but fuck me it was hard work.

Suffers from the thing all American series do - too many episodes per series and too much going on. Series 1 was great - good central premise, fairly grounded, something to build towards and a good twist.

Series 2 mullered that by adding in cops and other nutters that werent needed, plus a middle bit that does absolutely nothing. End was good but took fucking ages getting there.

Will give series 3 a go but not expecting much.

It did go a bit up it's own arse. When it gets to a point on a show where You literally aren't even sure whether half of the series actually furthers the plot in any way or whether it's just the pointless imaginations of someone with mental health issues.Personally I think there doing something wrong.

It's like they've made a full show out of those old sci-fi episodes where they go inside someones mind or it's all a dream and none of it is of any consequence. You know, the ones no one ever likes.

What brought the second series down for me is

the whole "Is it real or is it memorex" shite. Loved it in S01. In S02 it felt as if the showrunners thought people demanded some alternate reality shite. It would have been better if they skipped the "Eliot is imagining he's staying with his mother" veneer and just done a straight up prison story.

Other than that it's fine. Much better than most other crap I watch. Just didn't live up to the superb S01 which is amongst the best (if not the best) things I've seen on TV.

So yeah... looking forward to S03 but not in that risky over hyped state I was for S02. And that can only be a good thing.

Yeah it was a decent start and hopefully a sign s3 is set to be more like s1.

Yeah I enjoyed season 1, a fan of the cast. Season 2 was a mess and a bit boring though, so gave up.

I started watching it last night but turned it off and went to sleep after 20 minutes. I was too tied to focus but what I saw felt more twin peaks than S01.

    SAD!
