    Err its only on certain airlines from certain countries. Unless you are flying in from Iran you will probably be fine.

    All reported issues aside, it really is a glorious handheld. Probably the comfiest I've ever used, and the screen is so crisp and lovely.

    I heard the fan on it for the first time ever the other day - was wondering what that rather loud whooshing sound was, until I put my ear close to the vent. Oddly enough, it only kicked in when I was starting up Zelda, and then was fine when I actually started playing the game.
    The only two other handhelds that have impressed me this much were the GameGear (full colour speedy Sonic) and original DS (first time seeing real 3d on a handheld). Switch is expensive and has flaws, but I don't regret spending the money one bit. Helps that Zelda BotW is bloody amazing too.

    Yeah, possible, I wasn't quite sure, the "real 3D" confused me. :)

    I remember playing Doom on my old GBA and thinking that was it. You couldn't get any better than this, an FPS that I'd spent hours playing on PC, but on a portable. I can play Doom on the bus! Now look where we are. Even my rubbish 10 backup phone can run GTA3, and my dedicated handheld gaming device is also my home console. I know it shouldn't surprise me as technology moves on, but that doesn't make me any less happy :)

    Haha i know, I often look back and am amazed how far we've come. Imagine what it'll be like in another 10-15 years.

    @CosmicFuzz And the Switches which are all shiny and new now will be forgotten, lying in a drawer under lots of stuff we haven't even bought yet, but will be old news by then as well.

    @UncleLou :D

    /wipes single glistening tear from cheek

    I'll try to show my kids this amazing bit of kit that let me play - wait for it - CONSOLE GAMES whilst on the move. To which they'll mess around with it for a few minutes and then toss it aside before plugging their neural pathways directly into Zelda's Awakening (the sequel to the critically acclaimed full-body-experience The Legend of Link).

    I really hope this gets localised although i'm not expecting it. I spent so much time playing Secret of Mana as a kid, I was gutted we never got the squeal.

    I'm going for a digital Puyo Puyo download and a boxed copy of Mario Kart. Local multiplayer Puyo Puyo will be great fun.

    I was wavering on MK as it's a port but realistically I'll be playing it for the next 4 or 5 years so it's worth double dipping.

    I'm looking forward to MK8 partly just because the last portable Mario Kart didn't have a fucking single race option for some reason.

    I'll double dip on Mario Kart, it's one of the few games the wife has any interest in playing so I won't be allowed to move on the Wii U until it's on the Switch.

    Really looking forward to the return of classic battle mode, used to have a great laugh playing that with friends and have missed it on the Wii U.

    Does Mario Kart 8 have battle arenas returning? I used to love balloon battles in arenas, but the Wii-U battles on race circuits are absolutely awful. You spend most of your time driving around trying to find someone.

    Hmm... That's a bit annoying. Battle mode was wank on the Wii U because the tracks were all far too big...

    They'd just tacked it on for the Wii U version, it needs proper areas or it doesn't really work.
