Yeah I watched it recently. Was Lucas actually not involved that much with it? Or is it one of those ones that he's trying to put down the memory hole, like the Christmas Special.

@Mola_Ram I'm all for having a laugh but I think you should get that 70s version of the body snatchers of your list - that's a brilliant film

No, I actually really did like it. I'd never put it on my top 10 (and still prefer the 50s one overall), but it's a great film.

A film should be judged on your first watch; an impression of a film is dilluted over repeated viewings. Hence why a lot say they prefer Empire over Star Wars... you've just seen Star Wars too many times.

However. My love for Twister will never end, I just can't get enough of it.

Your top 10 films based on your memory of how good they seemed at the time. That's a very different list.

@iancognito if directed at me I've actually watched them all in the last few months, so my opinion has not changed. For years Halloween is an Evil Dead Trilogy night for me, don't miss it and Big Trouble is my Boxing Day watch while I unwind from Christmas.

@rockavitch Not directed at you. That was directed at the conversation about basing opinions of a film on the first watch.
