Yes, I will do that, but I'm off out shortly to watch my Son in a play at school, gonna have to be tomorrow.

These need quoting for truth, posterity, etc, etc

Is the screen straight on your Vaporflask Bob? In some of the pics I've seen it looks wonky, and that would annoy me esp. considering the price tag...

    Was it this one?

    rivuzu's Review:

Despite saying I'll wait till tomorrow, I've just given all (bar one) of the liquids from the September Sizzlebox a try... mixed thoughts.

    So, liquids I've received;

Chivalry by House of Liquid 7ml, 50/50 - So this is described as a Tobacco liquid steeped and matured for 30 days inside an old Scottish whiskey barrel - this is the one liquid I havn't tried, because it was last on my list and I'd gone through too many liquids (plus after the below, I needed a break). This could be fantastic for all I know - will try tomorrow evening and give you some thoughts.

Booberry Creamed Pie by Carpe Diem Vapor 10ml, 50/50 - Right, this one I feel is going to be marmite for some people. Blueberry, with a heavy creamy pie flavour, which even includes a distinct taste of crust. I can't stand this liquid. Of all the ones, this is by far the worst received because of the creaminess - it tastes far too artifical. It could be because I was dripping to be fair, and this might taste better in a tank, but it's not for me. The entire mixture actually prompted my gag reflex back into motion. Not fun. Here's hoping their promised Slevin liquid for the upcoming months will be better! 2/10

Fruit Cup by Velvet Cloud Vapor 10ml, 0/100 - Another "100%" VG liquid by Velvet Cloud Vapor, and it's very, very yummy! Strawberry, Pear and Honeydew Melon. Unfortunately the Pear and Melon, being quite subdued flavours naturally, don't really come through and there's a distinct lack in the sweetness of the strawberry. That said however, it is just as the Summer Sweet, in being a nice refreshing, not too overpowering flavour. Exactly what you'd expect really. 7/10

Dr Jekyll by Digbys 10ml, 50/50 - So, this months anise flavour is the liquid launched at Vapefest 2014 by Digbys, the Dr Jekyll, and you can tell it's a Scorpions Blood contender. If you know me, you'll know I hate anise and anything with anise in it with a bitter and virilent passion, but this liquid... there's something to it. Described as Anise, with citrus high notes and a bitter but creamy mint base, I must admit this is spot on the money. You get the initial anise cooling taste on the draw, but soon the citrus kicks in and it rapidly transforms, before you exhale a very cool, very refreshing menthol aftertaste. This one is quite cracking, and if it wasn't for the overwhelming anise hit initially I could use this one frequently. This one'll be donated to my chappy at the local vape shop who goes mental for all things Anise (to be fair, he's hooking me up with a load of Mt Baker Vapor liquids!) but I get the feeling it'll be right up his alley. 7/10

Sweet Prudence by Halcyon Haze 15ml, 60/40 - Another Halcyon Haze liquid, and it's... well, it's fine. But nothing outstanding. This was the first of the liquids I tried, hoping that it'd be outstanding but frankly, it didn't taste special. The description is "Tangerine zest, acacia honey and french vanilla, mixed with a host of other ecret ingredients" but frankly, those three tones alone weren't strong enough for it to be knockout for me. Perhaps it'll grow on me though!6/10

So all in all, nothing outstanding when compared with last months. The Leprechaun for example by Craft Vapes is still one of the best dessert vapes I've had, and it's a shame to see something like that missing in this line-up.

I can't fault Sizzlebox for their service though, as all of the liquids are trying to hit a different level of speciality that I enjoy. I still heartily recommend becoming a subscriber guys once you've found your ADV, as it's a great way to experiment for less money, and with a random element thrown in too. Overall, 7/10 for this months order as there's only one liquid I distinctly do not like, and even then it's not the one I thought it'd be.

Right, as much as this might annoy Bob, I'm going to write a little bit about a benefit to clones that were not covered previously. As part of my fasttech order, I put in one for the Big Dripper V2 clone and boy, am I sure as hell impressed with it.

What is it first of all? It's a rebuildable tank dripping atomiser. The actual device is split into two sections - the first, bottom half being the dripper deck where you build your coils on, apply your wick and your liquid as per the norm. Anyone familiar with dripping will be familiar with the look of this immediately. What makes it unique however is the top half being a tank to hold liquid. Part of the whole dripping process is manually applying your liquid onto the wick and coils, but this eliminates that requirement entirely.

    Here, take a quick gander.

The way it operates is you fill the tank up with your chosen liquid, and push down on the drip tip to expel it out of the tank and onto the wicks. That entire mechanism is handled via the spring and air pressure, with a very small hole in the bottom part of the tank.

So, what's so special about this clone? And why am I going to insist that this is better than the original?

There are 3 key things that are REALLY stand out for me. The first, and most obvious when you compare them, is the clear tank. Some might say it doesn't look as good (shit, I don't, I'd still have an original for looks) but being able to see how much liquid is in the tank - something pretty basic I know, but it is exactly my main gripe with the previous version.

The next big improvement is the juice well - this one is deep. REALLY deep. Well ok, not that deep, but for a dripper it's huge. Improved O Rings as well mean the amount of leaks I've had from this puppy is exactly nil. Previously, I didn't even bother using the tank as, even with this one AND the authentic, liquid will continually and slowly drip down, making it more of an "autodripper" at times. This is due to the alcohol content in liquids itself. I need to try it with a 100% VG liquid, as I'm currently using the 25/75 cloudchaser version of The Seven by Kraken. But yes, minimal to no leaks.

The final point, and this is probably the most important, is the ease of filling. If you check out Rip Trippers review of this on youtube (the authentic), it's a pain in the neck to fill. You have to do it in two parts and it's extremely frustrating. With this one however, all you need to do is unscrew the top metal section and you can fill it up. So simple, but so easy.

Part of the issue with the original Big Dripper, outside of it's price range, was also it's exclusivity. When it first came out, it was notoriously difficult to get a hold of and to many, even if they had the money, impossible. This clone though, aside from beating out the authentic, is readily available and at a very, very low cost.

For those interested in trying a new type of dripper, I'd heartily recommend giving this a crack.

Yep, I've gone over it with a fine tooth comb following the distress some customers have had with the first batch, mine is from the second batch and it's just perfect. No problem with the screen at all, or the chip (some of which went doolally after the first five minutes of use) and not one blemish. I am absolute murder to please and I have to say the VF leaves me gobsmacked with its machining and well, just everything about it - even down to the way the battery caps screw on beautifully with perfect symmetry. It's such a solidly made and weighty piece, it's got some real heft to it for it's diminutive size. I think it's a design classic. Another thing I vape right and left handed and it's incredibly comfortable in both.

Afaik, it was a very small minority that had issues and both Evolv and VF have show nothing but exemplary CC to clear up any faults at all. Something you'll never get with any clone.

Right now, I'm a very proud owner. :)
