I'm not a smoker but vape cos I like it. And no, neither pastime is "cool".

I fear that Zeffi's original assessment of you was on the money.
Everyone who doesn't vape thinks anyone who does is a complete cunt. Believe me.

You've only got to see someone pull one of those things out of their pocket.... and it's 'instant cunt'

Good luck with your substitute dummy hobby.

@You-can-call-me-kal I am a vaper and I also find the cloud of sickly smelling vapour pretty obnoxious. There is something to the feeling of a large dose of vapour rather than a smaller amount, it just hits the right spot in the pleasure centre. I barely use flavours these days as I got bored of them, still like the clouds though.

The battery cell inside is probably past it. 300 charge cycles is average, after that it won't charge as well as it used to and won't hold that charge as long as it used to - meaning it won't be delivering the power you're used to.

Time to get a new one, probably...
    Ahhh, thanks!

    Hiya folks!

Trying again after my various problems with those Enduras last year. This time I got the Coolfire IV Plus and am delighted with it, been using it for a few weeks now (although only half off the ciggies so far).

I didn't see the attraction of sub-ohm vaping before, but I'm a really big fan of the iSubG it comes with, with the 0.5 coils. However on good advice I dropped my juice strength by half for it, as it really hits, and burns through the stuff and it's strong enough - would rather more delicious puffs than too much nic!

    Questions please my fine friends:

    1) Will TPD on May 20th stop me buying this kind of kit (tank size)?
    2) I want to pick up a second unit anyway, it's just a matter of timing with the TPD. I see Innokin have a few newer products. Should I get another Plus as I'm happy with it or does anyone rate the newer ones better?

    Cheers!

    @kimchibaka

Tank sizes from May 20th will be limited to no more than 2 ml capacity which is about next to nothing. So buy additional glass replacements or tank kits if you can. Nicotine is also limited to no stronger than 20mg, as I mix my juice that is annoying.

I recently got the Smok Big Baby Beast which comes with an RBA, nice kit if a little fiddly to rebuild. Also bought the Aspire Cleito 120, huge tank but is needed due to 110 watt stock coils. Both produce excellent flavour and cloud. The Smok Big Baby Beast might suit your setup.

Very many thanks, though that is terrible news. Utter madness.

I'll get ordering quick smart (would still appreciate any thoughts on the newer Innokin offerings). You're not the first to highly recommend the Smok Baby so while I really like the iSubG I will also have a very good look at that. Thanks again!

Well for ease, and because I'm really happy with it, I went for another Coolfire Plus with the iSubG.

When it arrived I unscrewed it for a fill, and the bottom of the tank was very slightly chipped and the ring fell out. Contacted the vendor and they've been great, asked for a photo and then said they'd send me a new tank.

Have I possibly had a result, in that a very small chip on the outside of the tank and the seal falling out has got me a free tank? I haven't tried it yet, I wanted to contact the seller asap. Or is it not worth trying, but at least I have some spare parts?

    Any thoughts most welcome :)

I suppose the only way to find out is to try it and hope for no soggy juice filled pocket/bag. :)

If you can put the o-ring back and you can see a good seal it might be okay.
But probably not worth the bother if they are going to send you a new one.

As you say keep it as an emergency spare.

I'm looking for suggestions of a good juice to vape with coffee. I'm giving up smoking and coffee and beer are the two things I'm struggling with most. I have a grape flavor that goes really well with beer but not with coffee. I got recommended a chocolate one which is nice but a bit too milky for me.

    Cheers

    A couple of other questions...

I bought an eleaf I stick Pico, is that a good one? It wasn't cheap but seems quite good quality. I wanted a square shaped one instead of one of those dildo things.

Also, what wattage should I be using? It has a max of 7 5 but that gets really hot and makes me cough, I have mine on 25 but the guys I met in the shop all have theirs on high settings

    Cheers

Before I started to Vape I smoked Menthol Cigarettes, no naturally I went that way with my Juice.
And I've never really moved far away from menthol based Juice.
Pinkman - from Vampire Vape is my sweet treat
Heisenberg - from Vampire Vape is also great
Heisenberg Menthol - from BlueStar Vape is my main go to Juice
Blue Mist - from BlueStar Vape is quickly becoming my favourite.

Couldn't tell you if they are good with Beer/Coffee, but ween I have my coffee in the car on the way to work none of them disagree. :)

In terms of your new mod it looks very nice as a starter.
In terms of wattage you should be vaping, just choose the right level for YOU.
Don't think just because your Mod goes to 75watt and because those other guys are vaping at high levels of wattage you should be too.

Just go with what generates a nice heat for you and a nice cloud.
Totally personal preference all the way. I've got a 220w Mod and will NEVER use it above 50w.

Most going over that are building their own coils and likely burning through normal coils way to quickly.
It's not a competition, find the right juice flavour, with the right PG/VG level and find that nice sweet spot on your Mod in terms of wattage.

    To add to KayJay's comments.

A good vape juice with coffee would probably be a dessert style one. As I mix my juice these days I make a cinnamon Danish or blueberry muffin style juice, you should be able to find a similar premade product from one of the ecig online stores if you like that type of flavour - pick one that suits your preference, order 5ml samples if available and experiment.

As for wattage, the higher the wattage the lower the coil ohm rating should be used, its termed sub ohming if the coil rating is 0.2 or less with wattage set to 60 or higher.

Depending on my tank (Cleito 120 or Smok BB) and coil I vape from 70 to 110 watts. I build my coils to 0.15 ohm (dual) rating. Higher wattage produces more vapour if the VG content is higher (thicker juice, usually 60/40 for me is a good mix), and with more vapour comes more flavour.

High wattage with a high ohm coil would most likely end in dry burning the wick and you get a burnt taste. Found this happened to me when I switched from cigs 2 years ago, before a friend suggested sub ohming.

We sell a flavour called Cafe Zero. It might be just what you're looking for. Primarily its a blueberry muffin with a cappacino foam exhale. As a result its a subtle coffee note on the exhale, though a blueberry muffin with a light cinnamon spice on the inhale.

I wanted to make a coffee vape i actually liked, as i love to drink the stuff but found vaping coffee was just doesn't work in most cases. Cafe Zero; blends the best of both worlds with a soft dessert style muffin with the sutble coffee notes coming much later.

Vaping it at higher watts will bring out the coffee notes even more, but the user is able to control how much they want through their personal wattage choices on a regulated mod.

Have a Smok X-Cube mini, a Sigelei 100W plus and a Sigelei 30W mini that need a new home. 30 for the lot if anyone is interested.

@twelveways re: Power Settings, ignore the wattage. Aim to keep voltage around 3.7-4.2 at highest. Anything further than that is probably too much.

Your mod should calculate what the voltage goes to as you adjust the wattage, to save you working it out. It all follows Ohms Law and the relationship between Resistance (ohms), Current (wattage) and Power (voltage).

You want just enough power to be going to the coil so it heats up steadily, and doesn't flash fry your wick and juice. Otherwise you'll end up burning your coils out much sooner.

    Cheers for the advice guys!

I live in a small city in Vietnam and I don't have a bank account here so I am very limited with regards to what I can buy. Blueberry Danish sounds good, I was looking for something along the lines of apple pie and custard. Tried a chocolate and peanut butter one in the shop, it was OK but a bit too sweet. Also tried one called Beard salted caramel. That was really good but a bit pricy.

Some of the names of juices are just stupid, there's no way of knowing what it will taste like.

Thanks buddy, as soon as I posted that I knew it was a silly question and the best I'd get was a polite and correct 'try it and see' (although thank you, you've been much kinder and more helpful)!

Really impressed with the seller through Amazon so I'm going to give them a shout out here - Vaporcombo. I simply sent them a photo of the (tiny) chip and a day later I got a brand new Innokin tank.

I'm not sure if there's a problem with the seal as I didn't check it before forcing it back in (before I noticed the chip), and now it sits so deep in the bottom of that part of the tank. Again only trying it will make things clear!

The chip is nothing major I don't think. It's on the outside of the tank and isn't sharp so fingers crossed!

Some rather baffling answers to your question on here, including some basic mistakes about Ohm's Law. Set the wattage where you enjoy the flavour most... and leave it there. Don't worry too much about what other people are setting. Even with the same device preferred wattage will vary based on vaping technique, juice type, personal preference etc.

If you really want a simple overview of variable voltage/wattage you could try something like this:. https://onvaping.com/demystifying-vv-and-vw-settings-variable-voltage-wattage-and-you/

More of a temperature control person myself these days, although it's a bit fiddlier.
