While I couldn't really deal with Breath of the Wild as much as I hoped, I'm halfway through Oracle of Seasons and generally enjoying it more. It's fairly classic Zelda, and I hate the constant menu switching (if only the Gameboy had 4 buttons), but the smaller and more convoluted map is less tiresome to navigate. Dungeons are also more of a challenge.

Also playing Hocus Pocus on the old PC. It's fun (Apogee platformers are always guaranteed to be at least fun), but I'd say Apogee put out much better games. It's no Monster Bash or Secret Agent or Duke Nukem 1.

I need to finish that too. I know objectively it's very good, but for some reason I like it more than love it.

Bought the Van Helsing games in a deal recently but it was shortly before Nier: Automata was released so I haven't spent much time with them.

Now I got around to the odd one out of the bundle, being Deathtrap. It's based on a tower defence minigame in the Van Helsing games and it's pretty good fun.
The gameplay is a combination of traditional tower defence and ARPG elements. It reminds me of Orcs Must Die but with far more depth to the character building.

My weird week has brought out my compulsive tendencies but I've managed to channel a lot of it into Super Mario Run

Hands down the best mobile game I've ever played and just forgiving yet rewarding gameplay. I've spent a lot more money and a lot less time on triple a console releases than on this in recent years

Was meant to get back to Bioshock after I finished Nioh but my brother convinced me Sleeping Dogs was worth a punt so ended up grabbing it in the PSN sale.

It's really...rather good! I'm totally in love with Hong Kong after a couple of (very) brief visits as it is and being able to pootle about in it is great. Plus the combat is really quite fun as well.

Bioshock will have to wait a bit.

Especially as I've also got back into No Mans Sky. I have a buggy! I can run stupid looking animals over! Joy.

    PS4:
Still Zombi although I've been distracted by playing killzone mercenaries on the Vita.

    Xbox one:
Halo MCC. Currently on halo 2 playing as the arbiter which I never liked on the original.

It's definitely a great little game. Could be a bit cheaper, but I've more than got my money's worth.

PS4 Virginia. Right at the end, will finish tonight but not sure this games for me. To be honest I have no fecking idea whats going on apart from a kids went missing and someone lost a necklace!

    XB1
Ghost Recon Wildlands. Luckily I have three close mates who have the game so its been a great laugh so far coming up with plans then watching them all go to shit! When we do pull it off though its fantastic.

Hitman Paris. Got this on sale as I'd wanted to try it out for a while. Doing the training mission challenges at the moment. Seems fun so far.

Also playing through Gears of War 4 co op campaign with my Brother. Having a good time with it, onto act 4. And I have Forza Horizon 3 as my go to racing game.

Wii U: BoTW (I will never finish it), the most polished Ubisoft game I've ever played. Pretty, but bloated.

PS4: Yakuza 0, still a bit bloated but excellent gameplay and cutscenes. Think I still prefer 3 though.

PC: Rainbow Six Siege and Overwatch, little bit of GTA V.

Xbox One: NASCAR Heat Evolution, not great but you take what you can get when it comes to NASCAR games.

Witcher 3 - holy shit this is good. I kind of liked Witcher 2, but this is much better in every way. Even the combat

Yakuza 0 although I'm taking a short break, burnt out after playing 5 just before it so I'm taking on Persona 4 which I found for 2 quid and I bloody love it.

Horizon zero dawn. About 10 hours in just climbed the first long neck. Its very good, graphics are amazing I keep stopping when I'm fighting the robots to see the animation. I can't seem to get out of photo mode! Enjoy the one on one tactics with the robots but fighting the humans is poor , they can take more arrows than robots?

    Torment: Tides of Numenera
About halfway through I think. Really, really good.

    Mass Effect Andromeda
Slightly better than I expected from reviews but definitely Bioware by numbers.

    Night in the Woods
Put this on hold a bit but enjoying it a lot.

@samharper Sadly, NASCAR HE isn't very good. I'm still playing NTG 2013 instead.

Heat just doesn't have the engine sound right and it's all a bit light.

@Reacher I'm starting to get used to it a bit, it runs like shit on Xbox One though. NTG was good but I didn't think the AI was particularly good outside of the superspeedways.

@samharper I know what you mean. I prefer the NTG game engine for the cars though and the presentation is a lot better.

Plus, on NHE, you have to unlock the full Championship mode? wtf is that about.

Yeah it seems a bit 90s in its presentation and progression that's for sure. Not being able to change anything mid race weekend is annoying too. And the AI in practice is literally blind, they're alright during the races but they will just plow into you in practice.

How about the classic FallOut 1 eh?

Also taking my time replaying Far Cry 3, really enjoy the environment.

PS3 Everybody's Golf - nice and relaxing, picked up for £3.29 in the PSN sale

3DS Fire Emblem Fates - obsessed! Makes me really want a new Advance Wars too.

3DS: Oracle of Ages, because after finishing Seasons, I couldn't leave the thing in half. I like the password swapping too.

PS4: Destiny... again, after nearly two years. Buying the TTK expansion helped make it fresh again. Most of the additions seem good enough, even though I can't play multi anymore. Mind, with no ROI, it's not like I could do that much in multiplayer anyway.

X1: The Cave, but I'm not enjoying it that much. Might drop it soon, and start something else (maybe MI2:SE).

Wii U: The Lego Movie Game, because I both love and hate Lego games. This one is fairly mediocre for the series' standards though, and it's not especially funny either. I might as well finish it, but I won't be back for more (I got Lego LOTR waiting after this).

Android: Distraint, an ads-supported horror game. Visuals remind me of Lone Survivor, but it's purely adventure, not survival. Seems pretty good and also hits some painful keys with its themes. I ended up choosing to support the author and paying to remove the ads. There are no other in-app purchases.

Before i got the switch these 2 were my goto games as well. Can't wait for the ps4 version of EG.
I'm currently just playing The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ on the Nintendo Switch. It's like crack so I'll just keep playing it until I've had enough.
