Oh bum, but then it wouldn't be a Sony exclusive unless it was delayed at least once.
  • Deleted user 6 June 2016 19:16:06
Damn. That was one of my most eagerly awaited games that I'd totally forgotten about...

    Looking pretty damn good!

    Nice lookin' LE, hmm...

I don't know what to think about this game. I really like the concept, but IMO Guerilla have yet to make a great game, so I'm sceptical. I really want it to be good. That trailer was lovely, at least.

Holy crap, I just realized why I'm so drawn to this game.

It's basically The Last of Us feat. robot dinosaurs.

For some reason it reminds me of Enslaved much more than of TLoU.

Definitely more like a Lost Planet version of Enslaved.

Killzone 2 was and still is a great game. We had a lot of fun on the multiplayer with fellow EG members :)

True enough, I always heard good things about the MP (same with Shadowfall, too). Never played it myself though, only the SP which I didn't enjoy all that much. I actually preferred Shadowfall - at least it embraced its setting.

I'm glad to see they're going somewhere very different with their new IP. Hopefully press get to go hands-on at/around E3, I need some impressions!

This was probably my game of E3. It looks stunning. There is a weird sense of familiarity about it, but it looks like something you could lose hours to at a time. I hope it doesn't become as repetitive as some open-world games do.

I'm surprised this thread isn't a little more lively, but I guess that's because they didn't really show a whole lot more gameplay. Just different environmrnts.

I think its because you are only as good as your last game and well, the last game was a bit pants.

Killzone never hit the heights. This, however, looks far more interesting.

Fair enough. I did enjoy the original Killzone, though. 2 wasn't bad, either. I never bothered with 3 or 4 though.

I still haven't seen someone properly playthrough/walk through a demo and explain the systems etc yet unless I've missed it.

That steelbook looks sexy. Been tracking this for a couple years now. Not overly fussed about the delay.

Looks very pretty. Enough to give Xenoblade Chronicles X a run for its money.

Is there not a physical limited edition version anymore, like the one that was advertised in this link that YenRug posted 3 months ago?

    https://www.playstation.com/en-gb/games/horizon-zero-dawn-ps4/buy-now/

Not bothered about the statue in the collector's edition, especially now that we know it costs £105, but would have happily paid maybe £60 or so for the limited edition, almost just for the steelbook alone :( love me a good steelbook

Dude on GAF who played this said it was pretty sweet. Sounds good!

The thing I fear for with these kinds of games is how quickly one falls into rinse-repeat mode, vs the awe and fun you have early on.

I had a brief skim through that. Cautiously optimistic, but I'm still in the 'can Guerilla make a good game?' phase.

Oh aye, I'd be wary of it too - GAF loves to lose its shit at any positivity (and any negativity too, it's like a hyperactive child). But it sounds decent.
