    @OllyJ

    You can buy Gasgoigne's set with Instinct which has decent poison resistance.

    There's also an NPC summon in the graveyard outside if you're desperate.

    @DodgyPast nice, I’d quite like to beat him fair and square. But also I don’t want to be stuck for days. So I will summon him after a few deaths!

    @OllyJ I find the NPC makes it harder. It's the final third of the fight that's the problem with BSB and the NPC usually dies around the time you get to that stage. Then you're left on your own fighting him with buffed health.

    There are a few that were cut. VaatiVidya has a video on YouTube showing them all.

    Dodge to the left,  to the left with BSB. Just like the Beyonce song.

    Not that I can tell. Never received a Pro patch as far as I'm aware.

    @DJBobHoskins Actually you may be right, I tried him with NPC and BSB seems to get locked into invincible animations where I do no damage.

    So I played this last night, just after finishing Dark Souls 3 on PC.
    Bloody hell, the jerkiness of it was truly jarring, really struggled till I got used to it, I'd rather 60fps with less shiny for games like this tbh.

    Anyway, I want to play the DLC, I have a Bloodtinge Build and last night, finally got Simon's Bowblade and upgraded it to +5. I'm a bit underwhelmed, the Chicage seems better.
    Am I being a muppet?

    Think Chikage is better for a bloodtinge build, the bowblade scales primarily off of skill, I think. I have a pure skill build using the Blades of Mercy as main, bowblade as secondary, and it does decent damage as both bow and blade.

    Thanks a lot, I'll go and upgrade it beyond +6 now unless there's a better blooding weapon ?

    The Bloodletter is the best bloodtinge scaling weapon in the game, I believe. For the bowblade, the arrows scale off bloodtinge only, the blade off skill. It's a cool weapon but I found it a bit underwhelming, I suppose it makes sense they can't make arrows too OP.

    Aha, that makes sense.

    That reminds me. I never did manage to beat Laurence and become the beast. :( Nor bother getting far enough into the chalice dungeons to find the beast claw. One day...

    And Ebrietas.

    A good time to start the old hunters if you are interested in the dlc (which is excellent).

    @chrisno21

    I completely forgot about that. I'll have to Google how to start it.

    I started playing this again as I didn't have the DLC last time and man is the Whirligig Saw OP.  You have no reason to use any other weapon.

    Damn. Just fired this up out of curiosity where I am. Difficult to tell. Level 62. Got 1 cord. Fair few items and a fair few places open. Looking at the book I think it's the one reborn next then micolash but it's so damn hard to work out. Though I do have the ailing Loran chalice so amygdala is dead then. Gonna take ages working out what's next!

    Totally forget that regular goons respawn all the time in yahar'gul in the blood phase. That didn't go smoothly.

    What weapons are you using on your bloodtinge build?

    Okaay, so I've definitely beaten Rom. So I went back to the clinic to get the second cord. Except I can't get in. Have I fucked that bit up, or do I need to go in another way? I can't remember whether I've done that bit where she's upstairs and she tells you to get out (that's before Rom is dead I think). However, I only have 1 cord (pretty sure not from her), yet I have her vial, so I can't work this bit out?

    Chikage+9
    Evelyn+6
    I got Simon's Bowblade to +6 but it seems gash

    After finally beating Ludwig, the Holy Blade I go upstairs, kill wheelchair twat and stick fucker then I come across the two hunters. I aggro the huge sword one and run downstairs but she kicks my arse easily every time.
    I started farming a bit and have my Bloodtinge up to 35.

    You go in via the cave behind the dogs, onto the roofs and through the clinic window. Not being specific so I don't spoil.
