These headphones only work wirelessly using a USB dongle with PS3, PS4 and PC and I realise that a driver is required for it to do its thing. Was just wondering if anyone has ever tried plugging the dongle into a 2014 Bravia? The reason I ask is that DualShock 3 shows up as a recognised device when you plug one in via USB. Would be nice if it worked.|
Wireless Headset 2.0 / Gold Headset
Can I ask where you where you got yours?
The Argos website have deleted a question about their release date.
They've disappeared off gamestop's site.
They're very overpriced on Amazon.
It all suggests an interesting lack of supply.

I don't have them yet, but I did order them from Amazon when they came back in stock at £79.99. That batch seems to have sold out quickly and they are now up at £97.99 through another seller (fulfilled by Amazon). I have actually seen them at £140 which is insane. Does seem to be a supply vs demand issue.
I'll post back when I get them - and answer my own question.
Headset arrived - really nice.
USB dongle not recognised by my 2014 Bravia.
@ubergine yeah this won't work with 360 - PS3/PS4/Windows/OS X only.

Ordered these a few weeks ago from Amazon and they arrived today.
Reading the pretty much universal praise from various reviews may have raised my expectations too high. My initial impression is disappointment.
I've had a tinker with the PS4's headset app and upped the bass 1 notch, 2 notches was too much. I've made adjustments to the mid and treble as well but can't find something I like.
What custom setting are people using and have you found that they benefit from a 'burn in' period?.
I'd also like to know how people are finding them after a breaking in period. I've got a pair on lay by but the sooner i can stop having to plug into my controller, Which pretty much always had to be plugged in, the sooner i can get out from this neat of wires.
