My desktop PC makes a funny sqeak noise when I turn it of, its like a rubber sqeak sort of noise if that makes any sense, I think it must be something to do with the water cooling on the CPU but because I don't know what it is its got me worried. Is this a normal thing for water cooling?

    Maybe it's your mouse?

No its almost like sucking air through the corner of your mouth just as the power goes off? Could it be the pump sucking water back?

Not to sound weird but have you tried putting your ear to various parts to see where the sound is coming from?

Yeah no offence but if you're not too sure about how to troubleshoot this then you probably shouldn't have water inside your PC.

    oh it's one of those

I wouldn't worry about it. If it's just happening when you turn it off and the PC is otherwise working ok then yeah, don't worry.

I hope they sold you an extended warranty with that. Don't fuck about with it. Take it in to them to sort.

@Donk10 I experienced the 'squeak' from my desktop a week ago. While running Dell Diagnostics I noticed that when a section of PC had been checked and the blue 'tick' appeared the 'squeak' occurred at the same time so I concluded that it was software e.g ASC (10Bit) working in the background was causing the problem. I went into sounds in the control panel and and not knowing which alert sound to disabe I reset to 'No Sound', no more squeak.

    Do you wear an earring?

I once had a 'squeaking' sound coming from my PC - it turned out one of the fans was at an angle and catching parts of its seating.
