    Hello,
    there is a really nice RPG in the development by Warhorse studio. It is called Kingdom Come: Deliverance and the story took place in the medieval Europe (in middle Europe - Czech republic). There are no Dragons and magic. It is the open sand-box world with many posibilities but it is based on historical events.

    There is really cool Kickstarter trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nyfmd9ZMyIw

    And join my facebook page. Actually I am from Czech and I study archaeology So i´ll add not just info about the game, but also some interesting archaeological facts about castles etc.

    I'm sure we have discussed this elsewhere.

    This is out in around a month, anyone else apart from me looking forward to it ?
    I'm not expecting AAA but have seen more than enough to get me excited. It should be my first new game of 2018.

    Read loads of articles adding fuel to the hype... fire? over the last few years. Is it not supposed to be that good then?

    I've got my eye on it, the world looks interesting and detailed. I just worry how much "fun" it'll actually be.

    Hoping for a good graphics boost on PS4 pro too

    Edit: If this is going to become the leading thread for this game, can we fix the title ?

    Got a feeling its going to be 5/6 out of 10 game. It was massively ambitious when announced and I don't think they are going to pull it off.

    It could range from brilliant to dire, I doubt anyone will know till it's out.

    Think it will release to average reviews for being buggy and too complicated. I'm hoping if you look past the bugs and take your time it will be a really good game.

    I am interested to see how this game reviews. I doubt I will buy it but I hope it turns out well because it is trying something different.

    It is likely to fall into the same place as Alpha Protocol where it will gain a following of people that love it but the reviews will describe it as a rough diamond.

    @PazJohnMitch
    I would be extremely happy with that. I love AP. I'm thinking it will review around the 60% mark, which would be enough for me. Have a look on their official YT channel, some great vids and info. They seem very passionate, so I hope they get some good press.

    Backed this when I first heard about it. The combat looks pretty complicated and difficult but am excited to play it nevertheless.

    I think they have a complicated armour, damage and skeletal system, but the ACTUAL in-game combat that they've shown off looks like a couple of drunken tramps dancing a tango. There was also a video from a few months ago (I haven't seen anything recently) which had the player running from archers, bristling with arrows like a porcupine, SO... the archery clearly isn't very realistic. Not that "realistic" is necessarily good in a game, but it is what they've been pushing this whole time.

    I hope it turns out okay, but I'm not optimistic.

    The (ancient) alpha certainly isn't very polished, but it's a ton of fun, and quite unusual. I absolutely cannot wait for the full game.

    If you're looking for a "AAA" RPG with sky-high production values, however, this is not it.

    I was looking forward to this until I read up on Warhorse and specifically their lead developer and founder. Yeah,  not getting my money.

    To be fair, skyrims combat with anything but bows is shit but people loved it. Its a shame they didn't copy For Honor's combat as its probably the best sword fighting yet and incorporated into an RPG would be brilliant.

    I was intrigued so just did. All I can really see on the team history are Mafia 1 & 2, Operation Flashpoint and Hidden & Dangerous. All of which are great.

    Daniel Vavra (lead developer and founder) loves his alt right and nazis groups. He also lost his shit when people questioned why the game had no ethnicities in it. Plenty of stories and screen grabs of the lovely conversations he's had with people.

    Yeah, I remember a little bit of that flying around at the time. Though I don't think it was as much of him losing his shit as him getting exasperated with people trying to counter his research on the area the game is set in.

    Just read some of his twitter...

    Daniel Vávra ⚔‏
    @DanielVavra
    Replying to @a_man_in_black
    @a_man_in_black would you please explain to me whats racist about telling the truth? There were no black people in medieval Bohemia. Period.

    So what do you think of that reply!

    They've nailed the european countryside setting and colour, even if the graphics aren't going to be the best.
