Can't clear birthday from profile

    Following the log-in shenanigans, decided to clear what personal info I could from my profile.

    Clearing birthday I chose the -- option from the drop down, it cleared my date of birth but set it to 30 November 1999.

    Is this info used for, or likely to be used for password resetting in the future?

    I don't. That's why I was shocked to see it there.

    Plus some of us registered here yonks before identity theft was a thing.
