    I can't decide which of those would be the least worse.

    You don't get pustules with Rabies do you? But then again, popping pustules may help you while away the hours before you die.

    Well, we understand Rabies, there is some suggestion that they may be close to finding a cure for a percentile of patients but the bubonic plague had no cure apart from quarantine so I'd opt for rabies on the off chance that I was in the percentile that could be cured.

    I'd go for bubonic plague there's a much higher survival rate compared to rabies once physical signs have developed.
