    The demo for this is on the psn store now. It is brilliant in my opinion. First day purchase now. The game is the exact game the big brother ps3 version is. Confirmed. Any one else's thoughts?

    Miles better than 3 try demo. You get 2 stages in italy. I was tempted by the first one but as was a full game 8 didn't. This is confirmed to my knowledge from what the milestone team said on facebook. Plus it drives smooth as butter from my tests. Been playing it for half hour. Only 2 tracks lol.

    I love rally games, so I'll check this out.

    WRC3 reviewed badly even though I thought the console version was excellent and underrated. How good is this in comparison?

    I really think it is superb. If I crash now it is because of my Shit driving. Lol. Drive it like a rally game and it is great. Haven't brought one for ages. I still playing like need for speed. Honestly try the demo. But I am sold from this demo. Need to find out when it is actually out. I think better graphics. I think the team behind vita version is bigBen studios and I think they did motorstorm on psp which was good game to. So sold. Plus love handheld rally game. Haven't got time for ps3 version. Plus if it is exactly the same as that version then they will have listened to every one who was disappointed with the last one. Try demo lads. Hopefully you will be impressed. I am. Rant over.

    I have WRC 3, tried the demo of 4 and it seemed almost exactly the same to me, other than superficial changes to the HUD.

    Let's hope I haven't oversold it. Let me know what you think? Then if you like it? Let's spread the word. Get this great game sold well so they make more on the vita. As I love mine.

    Really monkman. I had the 3 and couldn't get on with it. Plus only half a game. Now you have said that I am probably over selling it. Saying I keep going back and still think the demo is excellent. Good solid rally game. What I wanted from them.

    Well the first one was solid, it just didn't have much content or structure. I'm just comparing the basic gameplay, 4 may well have much better structure etc.

    @monkman76
    Milestone own Facebook updates says it has full structure and is like for like on the playstation 3. I hope so anyway as I am going to look like a muppet now, bigging the game up.

    I liked WRC 3 on the Xbox 360 (in-game anyway, the presentation was horrible). I quite fancy getting WRC 4 on the Vita.

    I'd like to have a go at the demo first though. Only problem - it says it wants 357 MB of space. I have 339 MB free. :(

    You can let us know how it compares. Never had big brother version so can't say. Nothing you can delete? Picture here an app there?

    I'm playing WRC3 (360) at the moment and its a great game - one of my favorite racing games of this generation.

    I really don't understand the generally negative reviews it received.

    I have WRC3 on vita and think its excellent.

    Need to save cash for ps4 so won't be getting WRC4 on vita though. Might pick it up eventually if it really is a big improvement.

    I enjoyed the demo, I'm quite poor at this kind of game. Can anyone give some tips on the game? Like when to brake and turn? Should I be turning early or what?

    I could only stay on the track by being miles behind the other drivers in last place, lol.

    @aros Practice, basically! Try to get your car in a good position as early as possible based on what your co-pilot says. Generally that means if you've got a right turn coming up, get as far left on the track/road as you can. This makes the corner a bit straighter. And brake in a straight line before you get there as much as possible.

    Though I'm not any good myself, never know quite what to do with the handbrake on the hairpins.

    So you want to slow down before the corner, rather than during the corner/as you turn? Writing that, it sounds like a really stupid question. You can tell I don't drive!

    The theory is that both braking and turning require a certain amount of grip, so if you can avoid doing both at the same time it's better. I think this applies a bit less to rallying as you can drift round corners (back end comes out and the car skids a bit) without losing too much time.

    But yeah, do the heavy braking in a straight line just before you turn into the corner :)

    Seems a decent game bar the controls and maybe a bit too easy to roll the car.

    I'd much rather use the right analogue for accelerating/braking or x & square if it has to be digital. I gather WRC 3 was the same, hopefully they'll give the option in the full game this time.

    This should be in general maybe as it is coming out on everything? Didn't see any point in starting another thread for it but I just noticed the demo on 360 so I'll give it a whirl later.

    WRC3 is massively underrated and the series has got progressively better with each iteration so I have high hopes.

    Ok. I downloaded the ps3 version of the demo and it is the same. Same track and start up menu's etc. So looks like vita version is the full game in the palm of your hands. Great news people.

    Played the demo of this after the recommendations. Thought it was alright. It seems that the demo track is one of the tougher ones, and the handling takes a bit of getting used to....

    I can't say I'll be grabbing it ASAP, but I'll probably pick it up if I see it cheap :)

    @Flying_Pig
    Think it is harder ones. Still great if still think if it was a bad corner by me. It was my fault lol. I will get the vita version as got more time to play that. And it is identical to ps3 version apart from graphics. Still loving it. Think the ai on 5 is spot on for me. If I ace the track then I win if I don't have get beat. Glad some one is making a rally game for the vita. Kudos to milestone.

    I downloaded the demo and I think it's decent, but a clear step down from the console version of WRC3 unfortunately. The graphics are fine, but the physics are simplified, you don't get the same sense of weight, and losing grip etc.

    Played some more, with brake assist I really enjoyed it (novice driver!) and will happily pick the game up as soon as it's being sold new for close to 15. If the career mode sounds good I might be happy to pay more but have too much coming in the near future! (Ys, Batman I think?)
