And china. I worked for a business once and ended up, basically, banning any traffic originating from there.

Pathetic the way certain mods wave the ban hammer around here.
Try naming them rather than insinuating.

when it comes to fraud, i went to a seminar a few years back. Talking to another attendee from the online retail area we had a nice discussion on where we find our biggest repeat fraudsters are from.

I mentioned on man who had a strong African accent who threatened to kill me unless i released his order (i am not so well versed that i can tell the country only the continent, similar to being able to tell if someone is from the usa but not where) The guy mentioned that the company he works for has a blanket block on ip address's from Nigeria as they get quite alot of fraud from there.

Not to say Nigerians are fraudsters its just unfortunate that a small number of people ruin it for everyone else

Case in point, i grew up in a council estate where 1 or 2 people would phone up the local pizza hut and order delivery to a random address on the estate and say they will pay cash. Then would wait and grab the pizza as he pulled up. So pizza hut refused to deliver to our estate (bastards ruined it for everyone) isn't this the same thing?

Yes, but you imply it's due to someone being a bit trigger happy. Maybe he got banned because he was a thoroughly unpleasant little scrote with a nasty line in racism who's absence makes the forum a better place?

LB, you really are a massive geek.

Nigeria has a population of 169 odd million - more than twice the population of any other African country.

Many Nigerians live in comparative poverty, speak English, and have access to the Internet.

It's no surprise that a high proportion of English language online fraud originates from Nigeria? It would be weird if it didn't given the demographics? I don't think it is anything to do with a particular culture, especially...

Don't you always pay pizza delivery in cash? Except for recently maybe. I suppose you can order and pay online nowadays.

@Salaman You could always pay with a card if you trusted the guy on the end of the phone enough not to rob you fucking blind, but I fail to see why anyone would.

@JYM60 Hi there, I've just done the same thing (put my car on Autotrader) and received this exact same reply from ajaleikoko@gmail.com.

I assume that this is a scam then?

If you get this, please let me know asap as I have another person interested.

    Thanks

Sounds like some breakfast show clown.

He'll probably try and cram an endless number of passengers in the car

I've seen too much of Pennywise lately for it to be a coincidence. Can't even browse a simple fraud thread without him ruining my life.
