Why this obsession with productiveness? What are you, a robot?

"It's 4am. As I need no sleep, I shall wallpaper the spare bedroom. Go me!"

I know what you mean. Even if you needed just a couple of hours sleep a day, think how much more you could get done. Or time you'd have to waste. And sleep patterns are so unpredictable. You can't go to bed at 12, sleep instantly and wake up at 7 feeling great. There's always odd nights you can't sleep, or wake up early and feel tired all day.

Some people don't remember dreaming at all. I can see that sleep would be a far bigger waste of time for them.

    Poor Picard. :(

I always struggle to get to sleep. I also struggle to wake up. My brain really doesn't like changes in conciousness.

I don't remember dreams. Well, I do, but only for a minute or so after I wake up.

That kindle Fire advert, "I have a serious plants vs zombies addiction" "for me it's candy crush saga".

I know I can ignore it but it makes me want to beat up that helpdesk woman.

"I have a serious plants versus zombies addiction."
"OK, you should probably stop messing around with your Kindle and go outside or get a grip on your hyperbole, you shit."

It wasn't for Kindle Fire, but the last time I rang Amazon I wouldn't describe it as helpful. I remember it being like this for about 20 minutes.

Me: I don't have my book. I think it is lost in the post.
    Amazon: Right.
Me: Will you send it to me?
    Amazon:...
Me: My book. I don't have the book I ordered. Will you send it to me.
    Amazon: Your book?
Me: Yes. It's lost in the post, remember? I don't have it.
    Amazon: Right.
Me: And what I need for your to do is send me another copy of that book.
Amazon: You'd like us to send you another book?
    Me: Yes.
    Amazon:...
Me: So will you send me another copy of the book?
Amazon: You'd like another copy of the book?
Me: Yes, it was lost in the post. Remember me saying that? I'd like you to send another copy.
    Amazon: Right.
Me: So will you send me another copy?

Probably too busy playing candy (tm) crush (tm) saga (tm). Or maybe they couldn't reply due to some time limit, I mean, who wants to be glued to a computer all day.

@Chopsen Hardly an obsession. Stop exaggerating. I know perfectly well why we have to sleep, I just see it as a waste of time.

Everything is a waste of time, really. So you might as well waste it being comfortable in bed. So unless your Flash Gordon and you're saving the Earth or something, get over yourself and get to bed.

This also seems like a pointless waste of time.

You are a factory of sadness.

Good point. It'll just get swallowed up when our sun goes supernova anyway. Flash Gordon, what a self-important prick. It's all about him and his ego.

Flash Gordon always sounds like an instruction. Glad I'm not called Gordon.

Buck Rogers in the 25th Century. Yes, he certainly does.

And who can blame him? 3 reasons to actually watch that show:

    1. Theme music
    2. pew pew pew
    3. His assistant

I have loads of things but my 2 at the moment are:

1: Female Weather readers sense of dress, I'm sure the TV wardrobe departments make them wear the shittiest outfits they can find.

2: Weather readers who's lips don't move when they are reading the weather. It's like watching a ventriloquist.

    I hate weather readers.

Does the weather girl thing include Sian Welby from Channel 5? She usually seems well dressed to me.

I'd kick the living daylights out of the producers of Tipping Point - Ghandi

    @DFawkes

It's more of a regional thing, BBC Northern Ireland and Ulster Television. I will watch out for Sian Welby though.

There's a black weather guy that really annoys me, but that's mainly because he looks like a ventriloquist dummy. I'd get a picture of him but I can't find his name anywhere.

I know exactly who you mean. At school we used to call people like him 'Manhead'. The head of man with the body of a child.

    ---------------------------------------------------------
    He totally called it
