There's a PC thread, so thought I'd fight a lone fight and start a 360 one.

Anyway, I just spent all evening playing this and it's bloody great. This was just with a group of random people. Who all used microphones. And we're very civil throughout. Amazing.

Game itself isn't half bad either. Looks more than a little rough, but is massively entertaining and has some great, unique ideas.

Does it suck with AI partners?

Not sure how many people on my friends list will be getting this.

some people online are actually terrible, whats the point in playing as a team if people are just gonna run in the front door with the mask on and guns blazing? plus it really needs to be played with 4 peopple who have headsets

I hear ya! I was playing the PC version last night with randoms on Mallcrashers, first guy walks in puts his mask on and takes out the first security guard - everyone else just quit at that point.

I bought this today and it's the first new Xbox game I've got in months too. I love me a good co-op game so I should be playing the crap out of this tonight and tomorrow.

Tip for the Jewellery Heist. Do it on Normal. Wear a suit, mask up straight away and run in. Smash and grab 3 bags between the gang and fucking leg it to the Van. Shoot no one. You can be in and out in less then 30 secs. Free and quick loot card. :)

Same with 4 stores. Take a saw do the cash machine and you are done within minutes.

I'm really tempted to try this. A good co-op game a la brink/L4D would be right up my street. Especially if online works better at the outset than Brink's!

Online seems to work fine so far, but as always I reckon it's better with friends or at least people that use mics.

So far I've just played two completely silent matches with randoms which were still fun but if anyone fancies a game; my tag is the same as my user ID.

Why is having a different version of the thread for every platform a good idea? There must be three of these now!

Any Netflix library in the world for a couple of quid a month? Gimme!

Why is the 360 version more expensive? The PS3 version even comes with DLC.

They must have printed a very small amount of discs for the 360, If you hang around crime.net for any length of time you start to notice the same names coming up.

Really enjoying it with randoms, though I'm sure it'll be loads more fun when people on my FL can actually buy the game

Not having much luck sourcing a copy. Game were sold out and it doesn't look like anywhere online has stock either. I'll try the supermarkets this evening.

    Xbox Live: TenderChicken1

@neilqpr crime.net filters by location to keep pings down, you can change the range to see more

@El_MUERkO Thanks, not sure how effective that is though judging by the games I was in over the weekend! Mostly American players as far as I could tell, one time I was matched with an Australian host.

Are there filters in the 360 version? I couldn't find any (GoD version), other than that great fun game, even with randoms.

Had that problem yesterday. No one talking and one guy trying to play it like COD.

He got downed and arrested within a few minutes.

I had a lot of fun with this game... until I realised how terrible the hit detection is. My main gripe - and it isn't a gripe so much as a shitty game-breaking mechanic - is that enemies are invincible while engaged in their 'knocked down'/'get back up' animations. This makes it infuriating to get into a gunfight with anything bar the most basic fuzz - and even they are pretty much invulnerable at point blank range - again, due to the dodgy hit detection.

I realise that this isn't COD, but I'd be fine with the game punishing me in fairer and more transparent ways (i.e. less glitchy/cheaty) for Rambo-like heists.

Clarification: enemies are clearly not subject to he same rules as the players, hence why I qualify these mechanics as 'glitches' / 'cheating'. It's cheap and it's shitty and I hope it gets fixed because until then I'm not playing this fucking thing.

It's in the Games On Demand section for thirty quid. Should be there in the recent releases bit or just search under 'P'
