Hey guys, after reading the great Animal Crossing, Fire Emblem and Monster Hunter Reviews, Iím really interested in picking up a 3DS.|
However, Iíve noticed that the prices are still fairly steep. Ideally Iím looking for a 3DS XL, but I canít seem to find any good deals. The best I've seen is the 3DS Monster Hunter console with the game loaded onto it for £160 at GAME.
Does anybody know of any good deals going? I think I may have missed the cheap 3DS boat last month!

I'd say ebay. Bide your time, eye up the deals. Silver/black XLs have been as low as £120, although how legit those were I can't say.
I picked up a like new Blue/Black XL for £140 including several DS and 3DS games, which I promptly sold to further bring the price down. All told I probably paid under £110

140 on Amazon for the silver model with no game so if u want FE or MH then 160 is the best deal around. Its not a bad deal if u think about it.

I got the Monster Hunter bundle from Game. Well worth it.
Just bought a 3DS XL on an Amazon black friday deal and waiting for xmas to play it - unfortunately found out about the 3D land deal afterwards (I purchased the 3D Land bundle). Picked up the new Zelda and Professor Layton - Lost Future.
Just wondering if there is anything I should know now as a 3DS owner - don't want to miss out on anything great! Can't wait to play it

I would recommend buying it from somewhere you can travel to just so you can return it easily if something goes wrong.
@Roland_on_the_Ropes Unlike what Froggit said, you haven't missed out on the chance to redeem your codes for a free Mario 3D Land download (the offer runs until 13th Jan to register, redemption of the download code until 13th March); it's only a question of whether you want to do so.
Obviously, you already have the game, so it becomes a question of what you want to do with download code if you redeem your registration codes: trade it for something else, sell it, give it away, etc.
Or you can hold on to your registration codes, whilst there's a good chance there will be a similar deal in the future, there's no guarantee, nor any way of knowing when it's likely to happen.
You have options, it's just up to you to decide what you want to do.
Thanks guys - will have a think about it.
I was in Tesco, last night, and they had some models of 3DS XL going for £125 if anyone's interested.
Just checked the website, listed as £150 on there, so pop around to your local store if you're after one; unfortunately, I didn't look to see if there was an end date on the offer price.
