Oh I completely agree (although the Dark Arisen DLC for Dragon's Dogma was pretty awesome), but I just love Dead Rising 3 so much I relished the thought of new content. I'd go as far as saying DR3 is my joint favourite next gen launch title along with Resogun on the PS4.

Knowing me and a growing need for anything new on the PS4/XBO I'll inevitably buy it.

Came across a bug at the end of chapter 3.
The game is basically acting like I'm still in the boss battle and at one point you can hear them smack talk one another. Had to reload my save to fix it.

I got a jiffy bag in post today, opened it to see what it was seeing i never ordered nothing and i got this

i wondered why i was sent it, i had no info in the jiffy bag. So i just put it on the table thinking nothing else about it. Then i just happened to look across table and noticed a squiggle on the cover, it looks to be signed by an artist or someone. i then thought hang on is this from that titanfall online comp thing that happened a few weeks back.. hmmmm.

i still aint got a clue who the signature is. anyone else get anything like this that tried the titanfall code breaking comp ?

@CableNut Could be, as that comp had DR3, Ryse and Quantum Break parts to it as well.

FFXIV: ARR - Khroma Midgard, Odin.

Done some searching and it's signed by Frank Tieri, well that's something for nothing. I better put it up and pull it out in 20 years, when is worth something.

Sorry to drag up an old thread but I'm assuming this is the main one for this game?

Got a question. Obviously you can put skill points into catagories so you can build certain types of weapons from ANY 2 blunt/explosives/etc - my question is: How do you CHOOSE which one you want to make? For example one catagory allows you to make many weapons out of any 2 blunt, yet it always makes Heavy Metal? Am I missing something or being dumb here?

    @Collymilad
Not 100% sure what you're asking, but if you're inquiring on how to choose which weapon to make, you do that from a safe house (walk to the locker). While in the field you can only make the weapons of which you've collected the parts.

Does that help? Or were you asking about something else and I'm being a little dumb?

There have been Steam database entries before that haven't played out, so it's not like it's set in stone. Otherwise we'd already have played this:

That said, this one is still having changes made. I wonder if it'll actually happen? Plus the DR3 one has more info than the Halo 3 one ever did.

Yeah, just saw that. Looks like it is set in stone then :) That's good news, I really enjoyed it and hope PC players go for it.

After owning this since I got my Xbox, I finally sat down and finished this tonight...

    MOST FUCKING UNDERWHELMING ENDING EVER.

    What the fuck was that!?

I can't even remember how it ends, so it can't be memorable. I think you win but a bad guy also wins, but maybe not. Also there were a few endings so I have no idea if I'd have had the same one as you, but I bet they're all equally memorable.

Need some help. I'm trying to do a psycho mission called playtime which looks quite funny given it starts in a s3x shop. Does anyone know how the hell you open the door in the shop to get started though? I don't get it. There's an open door action but it doesn't work and a voice inside just says a few useles things every time I try to open the door.

Do you have any other survivors with you? I'm fairly sure you're not allowed NPC backup, as the charming gent inside "doesn't do groups". If that's the case, the voice inside tells you this when you try and enter.

Aha! I must have missed that. So much of the voice volume is really low in this game. Really odd.

How do you tell a survivor to fk off?

At a safe house I think. If you go to the survivor board there should be an option to dismiss or something similar. You can summon them back from the same board too, so you don't lose them.

on that note actually.. another question - does it matter if a survivor dies? I've lost quite a few I think.

Nope. Screw them :p There's probably an achievement for it or something, but that's it. I think I did the first 5 to have a full group of survivors to summon, and that was it. After that I just didn't bother because I didn't find it fun, except those groups that you save and they go on their own way.
