On that note I also never tire of this Adam Buxton sort-of-rant about him...

All the eurogamers who actually play with each other on xbl rather than just post pseudointellectual pc handwringing bollocks on the forums, love the shit out of biggy.

I miss Adam and Joe's radio show :(

I lurk. If I've spoken to you, I'm either impassioned, or drunk.

Could be that this film will have a bit more of a sense of fun them.

Adam and Joe should do the theme tune.

Daniel Craig had better start learning how to raise one eyebrow.

MGM and the producer of the James Bond movies have finally acquired all of the rights to the 007 franchise. After a legal battle royale that has gone on more than 50 years, the studio and Danjaq today announced they now have all of the rights and interests to the British spy held by Kevin McClory and his estate.

Might mean SPECTRE and other things making a comeback.

That is not a great teaser. They're supposed to tease.

The filmstage website removed it, a fake apparently.

It's a teaser for a Bond spin-off series, where Bond is no longer a secret agent and instead just walks about being mopey.

Heh, doesn't look like I missed much then. Didn't think it could be a teaser, hasn't it been pushed back a wee while to accommodate Mendes?

    It's totally yawnsome.

Well Bond tends to do a lot of coming and diving in the films... so the title could be true!

Considering it's not even started filming yet I highly doubt they would be putting out a teaser anyway.

They normally hold a big press event as filming begins to announce the films name anyway.

Skyfall was good, but it is a bit creaky in places.

I worry the next one will be just as in love with itself and implode.

Mendes on why he decided to return.

    Story here

    From the article

He also mentions that hearing the first Skyfall audience's roar of happiness - the "orgy of nostalgia", as he puts it - when the Aston Martin DB5 was revealed helped persuade him.

Have audiences had enough of gritty Bond and want to go back to the gadgets and sense of fun?

I think Mendes got the balance right in Skyfall. There was a bit more classic Bond fun in there, but it still had a bit of edge, and plus it was beautiful.

I know people give it a hard time, and the end does go a bit wayward, but for me it's the only Bond that's a "proper film".

It's signed it's female lead by the looks of things.

Lea Seydoux Boards James Bond 24

Recent rumours are that it was going to be Rihanna or someone equally shit. Decent choice with Seydoux.
