For me, Dalton was the best Bond and License To Kill is the best Bond film. Shame that all the legal shenanigans mean he passed on Goldeneye as by the time it was ready, he thought he was too old.

Goldeneye with Dalton would have been interesting.
Licence To Kill is frikkin' superb, up there with the best of earlier films. Would have been great to see him in Goldeneye. Having said that, Goldeneye was rather good. Had an old-school feel to it, dunno if that makes sense to anyone. Brosnan's other movies as Bond were awful, just pointless (in every sense apart from making money).

Brosnan was crap except in GE.

Go to see Big Same back on board. He has to keep his mind busy to stop him thinking about losing Winslet to a twat with the most stupid name in the world.

I think Brosnan made the best of what he had to work with in the later films.

Goldeneye is awesome though and better than Skyfall IMO.

I do get why people like Goldeneye but Skyfall isnt just a good bond film, its a good film, full stop and as such its probably the best movie in the entire franchise bar, possibly, From Russia With Love.

I'm the odd one out. I don't rate Casino Royale. My fave Bond is Brosnan. Fave film Goldeneye.. But I really like Die Another Day, mainly because of the into torture scene. Skyfall was father best of the new 3.

I thought the best scene in DAD was the sword fight, probably the only action scene in the entire movie that is a) slightly plausible and b) not riddled with awful CGI.

I enjoyed Skyfall but I don't really have an desire to watch it again. I can't see it becoming one of the Bond films you'd dig out every Christmas.

Skyfall isn't that great. Somewhat disappointed in it. Felt like a prolonged special episode of The Bill.

GE and CR both much better than it. IMO of course.

Skyfall felt very like a Nolan TDK/DKR to me. Very villain-heavy, despite the increased roles for the rest of the cast.

Skyfall is the best film but it's also the one that moves away from what people expect from a Bond film the most. I think I enjoyed Casino Royale more though.

Brosnan's main problem was that his acting talents peaked with this scene in Taffin:

He never could reach those heights again.

Yeah, if I was sticking one on to watch at christmas, it would probably be a live and let die or even a moonraker before skyfall.

Live and Let Die. Every black guy in it is either a jive turkey or a voodoo dude.

Except for the boss who is an urbane guy who knows how to play the game, which is probably its only redeeming feature in that respect and probably the reason its still shown on tv.

Damn straight. All true Bond fanatics have FRWL at the top of the list. It's quintessential.

Licence To Kill is great and I enjoyed the move away from tyranical world domination, it is my first choice for a remake.

DAD starts well but goes on to become one of my most hatred films.

I have a soft spot for Living Daylights, it's silly but not like Moore's were and the fight on the back of the plane was awesome :)
