From the Ride to Hell review:

As Rock, Paper, Shotgun's Adam Smith said, women are the new 'chicken in a dustbin'.
There are no references to "chicken in a dustbin" on RPS or any other site relating to games.

Does anyone have any idea what a chicken in a dustbin is?

Didn't you find chicken in bins in side scrolling beat em ups from the 90s. I think they replenished your health. I may be completely wrong though.

Was this game the road rash style game that was funded on kickstarter? Or am I getting it mixed up with something else?

In the Bioshock games I like to eat everything I find in the bins. Waste not want not.

Hang around the clubs in Croydon at kicking out time and you'll see plenty of women who look like a chicken in a dustbin.

I think that was Mark Hamill was looking for, around the time Star Wars Ep. VII was announced and casting news was being thrown about.

Why did you bother to read the review? isn't scrolling to the bottom to see the score enough for you?

Dat standard video game mechanism. Finding health/items in bins or the like. Nom nom nom. It's a good term for it, I think.

I do like it in Dead Rising because the food in the bins is often green, makes you vomit everywhere, zombies slip on the vomit, and this is obviously hilarious for many reasons.

I would like a ROM hack of Final Fight where eating chicken from a rubbish bin gives you food poisoning, slowly killing you over the rest of the level.
