So is there no Red Button coverage of the festival this year? Just seems to be Wimbledon crap when I press it :(

Yes those are the highlight shows. Normally the Red Button takes you to a selection of live stages and recordings of shows from earlier in the day, there doesn't seem to be any of that this year?

Odds on Daft Punk turning up at the Chic set? I reckon it's possible.

@Trafford I second that. The Stones are a great group and I've seen them in concert a few times, but Jagger is an absolute cunt! It would be better though if Keith just twatted him with a guitar on stage!

It's the fact that it's essentially cow poo mud which is the clincher for me.

Red Button on 301 and 302 9pm-2am. Glastonbury is also on freeview channel 303. Some group called Braille or Bastille are on at the moment.

Tomorrow it's Glastonbury Red Button on 301 from 9pm-2am, Red Button on 302 from 9pm-2am and highlights on 303 from 7pm-11:45pm.

Sunday night it's Red Button on 301 from 4:30pm-2am and on 302 it's Red Button from 4:30pm-2am and highlights on 303 from 8pm-11:30pm

    Have fun people :)

    Excellent. Love their treehouse studio.

The Resident Evil films. I'm one of the reasons they keep making them.

@Dogme I know, wonder how much they are being paid? Do it at cost you wrinkly old cunts. Give something back.
Sorry I just have a problem with dinosaurs creaming it.
I'm sure the majority of festival goers will lap it up, another band to tick of the list.

It really depends on what older musicians relationships with their fans is and their attitude to money. Seeing as this is supposed to be a peaceful thread I'll hold back on all the things I think are wrong with Jagger, but you know there is something about him and money that doesn't sit right with me. If I had a band I would gladly play at Glastonbury for free, no joke!

Haven't The Stones kicked up a fuss with the BBC and basically said they can only broadcast one or two songs from their set?

@M83J01P97 I believe so, but they are by no means the first band to do so

Fuck the Roses. Are The Stone Roses playing? :-)

Four songs. Since that announcement was made and lots of people complained about it, the BBC entered into negotiations with the Stones about broadcasting more songs than originally planned. Re: What I said about Jagger and money......

Goat were amazing. Like the anti-ABBA. RB2 just now. (991, 992, 993, 994 on Virgin)

(I love ABBA. They made world music too)

A strange game. The only winning move is not to play.

Miles Kane are on at the moment. Never heard of them before, but they're really good! love the Union Jack top the singer is wearing.

BTW, Stones aren't being paid more than anyone else.

Funny watching Dizzee down the front - the integrity of his crowd-surf was constantly threatened by the fact that everyone was trying to record him on their phones so were only using one hand to support him.

A strange game. The only winning move is not to play.
