Yeah that's a good shout. Just like it but a bit more pronounced.
Forgotten they do that ni that song too.

I don't know if any of you listened to Attention from his Ataxia album Automatic writing II with headphones on.
I tend to have some music on at work whilst I'm sat at my pc. So naturally with headphones on.
Around the 4:25 mark, they do this thing where they are sending the guitar and bass between the left and right speaker. Such a headfuck. It feels almost physically unpleasant when they do it but it's a neat effect.
new album out soon :
Be interesting to see what it sounds like! He just recently produced this album.
Ooh. Good news! Looking forward to that.
Anyone listening to his new album stream, you have to download an app and when a satellite passes overhead you can unlock streaming for 5 days.
Ah thanks for the heads up!
Just downloaded the app. The satellite should be passing me in 50-some minutes.
So most likely the same for most Eu based people. Get in!
I have to say there's a chat option in the app and there's quite a few people complaining they couldn't get it streaming although the satellite was overhead. We'll see how it goes.
Remember when pre-streaming and pre-internet when artists would make some music, record it and then release it on a physical medium & distribute it via a network of stores?
Imagine describing this process to someone back then.
"Yeah so you have this powerful pocket computer which is also a phone. The music is on a satellite circling the earth and is beamed down. When it's overhead, your pocket computer picks up the signal from the satellite and you can listen to the music."
Between this and Wu Tangs recent announcement that they will only create 1 copy of their next album, which they will first have touring around the word's musea and then auction off for millions in order to highlight that music is art it's pretty clear music distribution and consumption has changed massively. Catch up industry dino's!
It streams fine for me, sounds good in places but there's too many drum&Bass rhythms for my taste.
It also on youtube, Not the ideal listening conditions, but still : ) A bit aprehensive, pbx didn't set my world alight to be honest.
Hmmm. It counted down to 01 minutes and then next thing it's 12 hours.
Also toggles between two distances was 16k, 7k before, then 18k, 2k.
Either way .... didn't quite work, as I sort of expected.
I'll check the youtubes.
I'm up to clinch so far and it sounds a lot more accessible than pbx on first listen. Deffo interesting, i really do love some of his vocal arrangements, the start of sleep is great.
Oh wait, just picked up my phone and there's a notification I can grab ut even though it says 11+ hours until it passes again.
I'll have a listen now!
The first ones up to fanfare I had to somewhat grin and bear it to stop myself from skipping ahead.
Might get better with repeated listening but so far the first few didn't grab me right away.

Will need to check this out.
He produced a rap album lately for the Black Knights called Medieval Chamber which was pretty good.
So how literally do we need to take this "satellite" thing?
I thought it was cool this afternoon when I read it and downloaded the app inbetween a bunch fo shit I had to get done for work.
Driving home afterwards I had a moment to reflect. I'm assuming the app just mimics a satellite path on google maps or earth or whatever and then unlocks it for you when this "satellite" is over our area.

Was listening to The Empyrean for the first time this morning and I think the last two mins or so of Unreachable is just one long eargasm.
The Empyrean is lovely.
This new album was more palatable on a second listen.
I got round to listening to the album properly last night, and i enjoyed my time with it. It's far more coherent than pbx and as a more consistant sound running through it. It far less prone to random out bursts too.
I really liked Letur-lefr and i think Enclosure will grow on me like that EP too. I found a lot to like on it.
Never seen/heard this one before. A little over a year old already though.
