    Shit.

I mean, he didn't really look after himself well. But still. Shit.

    :(

Died on holiday on Rome. Wonder how long it is before the Mob speculations start? I reckon he probably just ate too much aubergine parmigiana, smoked a huge cigar and thought he had indigestion.

Obviously Tony Soprano was his biggest role, but the part he had in True Romance was the first thing I remember him in. A real nasty piece of work and yet that final scene was more complex than I ever expected.

    RIP Big Man.

Oh shit, that's a real shame. He pretty much made the Sopranos for me.

    Brilliant actor. RIP

Just watched a scene he did with Richie Aprile, fantastic performance. Season 2 has to be my favorite.

    Shocking and sad.

His spectacular performance in The Sopranos pretty much cements his place in history.

    Oh that sucks.

    51 is far too young.

    Such a shock.

Brilliant actor and Tony Soprano is undoubtedly one of the greatest screen characters ever created, thanks to Gandolfini.

    RIP.

I was quite surprised he was only 51, I thought he was older. He made one of my favourite tv shows of all time, I look forward to seeing which clips they find that can be broadcast for the sad news of his death.

Sopranos is my favourite TV show, huge reason was because of him.

Also has the best line in True Romance. Great actor.

    RIP James :'(

Ah man. Brilliant actor. Can't say I'm surprised though, as me and my wife watched The Sopranos and saw him get bigger every season, it was obviously going to be a worry.
