    No one watching this?

It has a very strong Sopranos vibe and a cracking cast including Liev Schreiber, Jon Voight (fully hamming it up) and Eddie Marsan.

It has the usual mix of sex, violence and gangsters but in the more unusual location of LA. Worth a gander.

Sopranos vibe you say? I'll definitely check it out now.

I have seen the first two episodes it is really a good solid show. I am reserving judgement to see whether it can grip me throughout the entire series as a good start has Bourne out to nothing I quite a few series I have watched recently

Still only seen the first two but already liking it a lot...

Schreiber carries it perfectly...And to think one of the first times I saw him was as a nerdy character in Sphere...

Also love that Avi guy...No nonsense, just hurting...

AcidSnake - He can't see your sig, avatar, images or vids and talks about himself in the third person because he's proper old-skool...UID 24017

Enjoying the first episode, solid cast. I like to describe things as other things so this is a cross of Luck, The Sopranos and Irish-American families as depicted by The Departed and Ben Affleck movies.

Loving the show, although watching it after Dexter each week really shows how bloody awful Dexter has become.
The cast is brilliant right across the board too. I always find Schreiber watchable and Voight, as always, plays the creepy bastard very well (The Boston accents are occasionally a tad OTT though)
The introduction of a Family Guy favourite in last week's episode just gives it another great reason to watch.

Schreiber has really surprised me in this, as I wasn't aware he was able to dial it down and play the strong, silent type. Great line in designer clothes too!

I like the fact that a lot of the drama stems from unknown events from the past, with subtle (and not so subtle) hints as to what happened.

Really hoping they can maintain the quality.

BTW - I've only just twigged that Terry's girlfriend is the girl stuck in Buffalo Bill's pit :-)

Voight is hilarious in this - especially when he's raving it up in a gay club, sniffing poppers. Excellent.

I'm enjoying this, but I think comparing it to the Sopranos is a bit of a stretch. It's basically GTA Cutscenes: The Series
