If no-one is developing it yet then we are talking years. I just don't have that kind of attention span these days.

Crackdown has to be one of the most mismanaged games ever. As a properly managed franchise it would have had some much potential.

Poor old Crackdown, so under-appreciated by Johnny Microsoft.

If you don't want it, set it free! Let it blossom as a third-party cross-platform butterfly!

I cant see how they could release the same game again, so its probably unlikely.

If it's going to be as shite as Crackdown 2, they might as well not bother.

Let's hope they remember to put a game in there the third time around.

    This.
The first game was truly ace. The second was truly shite. Why did they get rid of my morphing cars, why!!

To be fair, weren't Ruffian given a stupidly short amount of time to make Crackdown 2? I don't think they were left with much choice but to re-use the same map and only make very few changes to the gameplay itself.

Microsoft seem to be the ones to blame.

Like they are for many things...

A new Crackdown with the developer given enough time to do it justice would be very welcome indeed. This is a bit of a non-story though.
