I wish I had held onto this for Paper Trail but I was offered a trade for NBA 2K14 which is like gold dust in South Africa as it wasn't sold here.

From other comments I've read elsewhere the instructions aren't that great really, the code is out and about so Google it, what you get is an audio file. You don't need to do this part to progress.

Yeah I found the code online. My dove kind of worked and I could make out three of the five number groups accounting for some of my folds going the wrong way. As you say, though, not necessary.

I've now got the third power, which is pretty cool in a lot of ways but this game consistently annoys me.

I just find it frustrating a lot of the time and the combat feels less weighty than the previous two Infamous games which were far from top notch themselves.

It's a lovely looking game but I think I might actually straight out dislike it after about 10 hours spent with it. I find most things annoying, especially the dying and camps of enemies.

Combat is usually something I really enjoy in 3rd person games but I am finding very little joy here.

I got the platinum yesterday and found for the dup camps the best way is to build up your 'super' move before you get there then jump right into the middle of it and activate it. Clears out the majority leaving you to clear up the stragglers.

Yes I do that. It's still pretty crap and not interesting at all. I actually think the game got a bit of a pass from reviewers. I think it's almost poor. It's definitely bang average.

Totally different experience here. The first two games were a slog compared to this one. This entry has sort of redeemed the franchise for me. When it was first announced last February I rolled my eyes, but now I kind of want another one...

I really enjoyed it too, to the point that it pulled me off of Titanfall for an entire week to platinum it. The brevity works in it's favour, it's pretty, it's slick, and i didn't feel the powers were weak.

Certainly much better than the first in the series in every way, which is the only one I've played so far.

    I would definitely buy a 4th.

Having the fourth power out of four only becoming available from about 10 minutes before the end of the game was pretty bemusing.

Maybe they were assuming people would continue with it after the end game, but still...

Definitely worse than the other two imo. Not even sure why, but the whole "feel" of the game is a bit off to me.

I think the powers make the city feel inconsequential. It's just there beneath your feet, really pretty in details with neon signs and the like, but doesn't have any identity. I'm sure in the previous games I used to spend time actually climbing stuff instead of teleporting and flying about the place. You'd grind on cables to go from roof to roof, I really liked that mechanic. It's just too easy it get around now, and I'm sure a lot of people like that, but it doesn't half make the city feel boring. I could be dropped anywhere in Los Santos and I'd know where I was based on the level design alone. Could not say the same for this game.

Yeah, navigation was basically "hold forward + circle".

The powers were all too similar and not nearly as fun to use as the second game, while the actual city itself just passed me by as I was too busy twatting about across rooftops.

The city in the first is a ball ache; too big and too slow to traverse. Looking forward to playing the second due to the praise it seems to have here but from what I've seen of the narrative it's all a bit balls.

For what it's worth, I thought the first game was dreadful, Second Son was a chore to play, but inFamous 2 was great.

Not a fan of Second Son at all, it's annoying beyond belief. I find combat far more frustrating and tedious than in the previous games.

Oh look, two bullets and the screen is black and white...again... and now I have to refuel my power...again...but I can't cause I'm being shot at...again...by loads of enemies, who are leaping about everywhere.

    Yeah, real fun game.

On my expert evil run and so far it's really easy.

Can't help feeling that with more development this could be a real contender. The combat loop and powers are real fun. There's just not much to the rest of the game.

I hope there is a fourth outing though, there is definite potential.

I found my 2nd playthrough on Evil Expert far more enjoyable than the first. I would still say Infamous2 is the bestof the series

Yes. I liked grappling up the buildings, feeling as if it was my effort that was getting me around the city, with the freedom and fluidity stopping it being a chore.

The thing I didn't like from the look of Prototype was that you just seemed to superpower your way around.
