Does the burning bum syndrom ever end? I litteraly cried out in pain this morning after having some chilli chicken and chilli dumplings last night.

    Is there a way forward?

You grow an immunity to it! Also you learn about dosage too. Never over do it. I currently have a selection of dragons blood products and Satan's shit that I use in my cooking. Love it!

I think I've been quite fortunate, I've only ever had ring sting once in my life after sampling a Phal curry. Vindaloo is my curry of choice too and never had it from that.

I get Gandhi's revenge badly when I have a proper cuzzla.

It's a shame, 'coz I love hot dishes like Jalfrezi with fresh chillis, but I've learnt that I just can't order it; if I do I'm back and forth to the toilet for about 12 hours the next day.

I feel your pain :( I find immodium and eggs can stop it to some extent, but you're gonna have to ride it out.

You get used to it. I entered a chili eating competition last year and came second. By the time I decided to admit defeat, my ears were burning and my hands had gone numb and contracted into claws. I spent the next several hours curled up in pain drinking milk and eating yoghurt. Felt absolutely fine the next day though, without a hint of ring sting.

I eat a LOT of spicy food, but can't say I've ever really had spicy bum problems.

I think y'all just need to man up.

Believe me, you wouldn't be saying that if all that was evil and unholy was hurtling out of your arsehole in a liquid jetstream, travelling 185mph and scorching every gentle, sensitive cell around your anus. Several times in one day.

I think it just varies from person to person. I only ever get it with hotter cuzzlas; never had a problem with very hot mexican food or the like.

Its the seeds. Its always the seeds. If you jam some piping up your asshole it should keep the hot poop away from the flesh.

I tend to only have problems if I eat a lot of actual chillies. Which I really like doing. But it brings pain.

I've never had this burning bum thing at all, even when I was a kid eating vindaloo but then I am a badass.

Send a gerbil or guinea pig up there to devour the seeds before they can cause any trouble.
