With so many predictions going on leading up to E3, I thought it might me cool to have a thread dedicated to just to the announcement of the anticipated 3D Super Mario game for Wii U. So if you've got some IDEAS or PREDICTIONS then post them below after reading the rules/structure set out as follows:|
#1 - In bold, type the heading for your predicted Super Mario game subtitle e.g. SUPER MARIO: __________
#2 - On the following lines explain your IDEA or PREDICTION for the game. You could talk about the basic story, the characters, the mechanics, the levels and environments, the art style, the controls using the GamePad (if it is used at all...) and/or the relationship to previous Mario games.
#3 - Be as wishful and wild as you like with your IDEAS/PREDICTIONS because we're all probably going to be wrong anyways, it's just for fun, so no need to be judgemental of others thoughts.
Super Mario: Bubble Ballistic
Story - Luigi accidentally spills a bottle of Super Detergent down a drain whilst helping Mario clean Peaches Castle as a surprise for the princess whilst she was out at the Mushroom Kingdom Market. The Super Detergent mixed in with the waterways and caused gigantic bubbles to come out of the ground all over the kingdom! The bubbles started to trap anyone who happened to walk in to one and would carry them away up in to the air, the poor Toads started screaming for help "Maaarioooo!". Mario's attention was drawn to the screams for help and as he ran towards the window a Toad in a bubble drifted past him. Mario was stunned and confused and looked out the window and saw the princess running towards the castle and before he could react a bubble swooped her up and carried her away!
Characters - On different quests you will get to play as Mario, Luigi, Yoshi or Bowser. This will be the first game where Bowser will be a playable character in a Super Mario game because the four of them will need to work together using each others strengths to recapture their loved ones, that includes Bowsers family who were also taken away by bubbles.
Mechanics - Mario runs to his closet and regains his trusty Flash Liquidizer Ultra Dousing Device (FLUDD) from his trip to Isle Delfino. Mario has the ability to get caught inside a bubble and using FLUDD can pop the bubble when he wants to escape. This will help him get to places he otherwise wouldn't be able to reach. FLUDD can also be used to water down the soapy water to clear away slippery paths and Bubble Fountains (places where bubbles come out of the ground).
Luigi can run faster and slide further than the others, this gives him a unique advantage, especially on levels where you need to slide long distances upon the soapy ground.
Bowser has great grip on soapy surfaces and his sheer size allows him to carry heavy items to block Bubble Fountains and bash through barriers.
Yoshi returns with his light and nibble manner and his double jump and tongue mechanics, which allows him to eat bubbles and burp them out again as a string of tiny bubbles that can be used to create platforms to jump on or walls to block things with.

Do you like films about gladiators?
There will be a 3D Super Mario game announced at E3.
It will be the same shtick all over again.
Nintendo fantards will lap it up and ecosse will have another reason to live for the next eighteen months until it launches.
It will be to the WiiU what an armband would have been to the Titanic.
If you think Edith's story is spectacular, my cousins bests friends barbers dog makes $274,000 a month filling in surveys. Try it!

The new 3D Mario has a few major surprises...
1) This time Peach saves Mario
2) The game is a FPS (yes Mario; sorry Peach with guns)
3) Peach wears a pink leather jump suite and the camera focuses on her arse.
But only if there's a dog in it.
And a season pass.
@ZizouFC lol, I'm a gay man so not in real life but thanks for asking.

@MrTomFTW lol, Are you trying to ask me out on a date? The answer will be no to both questions.
It's just a life of rejection for poor old MrTomFTW
@neilka the fact you edited your post and yet it was still THAT shit is quite a feat! I can only imagine what the original post was..
Mario is a cannibal paedophile?
The guy already eats starfish and has a suspiciously preteen looking girlfriend. I'd say he's already most of the way there.
As humorous as you guys might think you are, you're just making absolute man-gyna's of yourselves. Have some dignity and talk about games and if that's too difficult for your childish, off-topic minds then start your own "puberty thread" where you can converse and argue until your hormonal levels reach adulthood.
BTW, @neilka, I think you are an idiot for saying that. But that's what you wanted right? Attention? Congratulations! You can smile on the inside and the outside knowing that you've achieved something your family can be proud of.
So when they pull the plug on nintendo, do you guys think they'll go for the money and produce for microsoft or will japanese honour push 'em in sony's arms?
Pull the plug? Even with the WiiU troubles, Ninty are making quite a lot of money as platform developers. I doubt they'll be going third-party anytime soon.
But if they did, they'd probably go with Sony. Or partner with Sega and Sony in some unholy late 90s trinity.
Sony Sega Nintendo triforce?

Nah, they should team up with Hudsonsoft and NEC and make the PC-FUXXX in an unholy late 80s trinity
They could call their company Soninga.
It would be the end of all console wars as we know it.
