    Sounds like only 120 cars at launch, though. Depends how you enterpret "new", though.

    Sounds more like 120 new to the game to me. I'm expecting perhaps 200-300 cars to ship with the game.

    If I'm wrong and it's only 120 then I can live with that at launch though it would be a bit disappointing, though I'd expect there to be lots of choices for more cars via DLC.

    Hundreds of cars reproduced to perfection, more than 120 new available from the start.
    I don't know, that could be taken in a number of different ways.

    It could - but it sounds like two different numbers to me "hundreds of cars" including more than "120 new". Turn10 has already admitted that this isn't going to be the biggest Forza game yet in terms of content. But I would still be surprised if the car count is under 200.

    Either way it's the tracks that are more important for me this time around. I'd happily have just 120 cars if the track list was good enough.

    I agree, this is their opportunity to mix things up. Forza is notorious for its conservative tracklisting.

    T10 has said that information about 120 new cars and 24 cars on the track wasn't accurate and has asked Amazon FR to remove it. So we were speculating over nothing. :)

    My guess is 16 players, with 8 additional cloud-driven Drivatars. Maybe an alternative split, like 12/12.

    I'd kind of assumed this one was going to be a little light on content, being a launch game. I'd be very glad to be proved wrong, though, not that it matters if it's an excellent game in other regards.

    Fanatec has hinted there may be a solution. But I wouldn't hold your breath.

    Surely it can't be that hard to support old accessories like this? Don't some of these wheels cost 300?

    It's not a technical issue, but a policy one. Hopefully MS will see sense on this for those with expensive wheels.

    Mine cost 400. For the wheel alone, that is. With pedals and gear stick it comes closer to 550.

    I totally get why it won't work wirelessly, as they are using another protocol for wireless controllers on the X1. That's why the regular controllers don't work. But my wheel HAS a USB connection. All it would take for MS is to incorporate a "standard 360 wheel" driver into the X1 OS. It can't possibly be a big deal to do.

    Big car rosters are nice because there's more chance of your pet favorites being included (and its always fun when a version of your own real life car is included) but apart from that, its pretty pointless for me. I use maybe 50 cars. I'd prefer they spend more resources on AI, tracks and more dynamic racing (pit stops, oil spills, flags, safety cars).

    I was playing Forza 4 last night and its great but too many races are unbalanced - you clear the pack in the first lap and then you just hot lap the rest of the race. Also some courses the AI is too conservative and slows down too much for certain corners which makes it easy to rear end them by mistake.

    balancing sims for a wide audience must be a nightmare!

    Fantastic ad - just saw it on the dashboard. I'm starting to get a nagging feeling that I'll be missing out come November but a next-gen purchase will be 2014 unfortunately.
