The same works if you use private internet access and Texas

Edit: scratch that! Netflix does load but won't stream the content.

Finally got round to watching 'Inside number 9' with series 1 and 2 having been added. Only a few weak episodes, with most being really solid but there are some genuinely brilliant ones too.

Cast throughout was very impressive and the way certain episodes were filmed was very clever.

Stand out is of course 'the 12 days of Christine'. Sheridan Smith just nailed it and I was left feeling way more affected than I expected.

    Highly recommended.

It was working until a week or so ago. Bah. I'm switching to Express in a few months anyway...

Love the show but always thought that episode was a tiny bit overrated. Maybe because it reminded me of Shyamalan's Signs. It's still excellent but personally preferred Quiet Night In, thought that was ingenious.

Same here, it's well performed but incredibly derivative. My favourite episodes are Quiet Night In, The Riddle of the Sphinx, Last Gasp and La Couchette.

Ah, never seen signs. Quiet night in was my second favorite episode, really clever.

Maybe I'm misremembering Signs but I can't see how that episode is anything like it?

    Twists and a car crash.

    Yeah, it's tenuous at best.

I think Mindhorn might be up on UK. Either that or my work connection VPNs to a location not blocked. If high it's never done before...

It wasn't Signs I thought it was derivative of as I haven't seen it, but Stay springs to mind, and it's definitely not the only film to do that twist.

I have started watching Sense8 season 2 yesterday. The opening episode is two hours long.

One thing is for certain. The Wachowski's are indulgent in all they do. That's both a boon, in that their products are uncompromising, but often also quite annoying because of it.

Needless to say, I'll watch the second half of the opening episode today. Who in their right mind watches a two hours long episode in one sitting?

That episode was released months before the main series as a Christmas special or something, I think that makes it a bit more acceptable, but yeah, they are very self-indulgent.

The end of that episode has a brilliant pay off. I watched it in one go and wasn't disappointed.

I have really grown to love Sense8 in all its batshit glory,á for some reason I find it quite affecting in that I have grown to like all the characters for various reasons and pull for them. I don't find many other shows manage to ellicit thr same response.

Why they change the African actor in Sense8 so can't get used to the change.

Been waiting to see how this one would come out, seems a tad straighter than I thought it would be. Guess that means it is either weightier than I thought (and better for it) or not as funny (and more boring for it) if does have a few good lines though.

The second season of Master of None is fantastic.

I enjoyed the first one but this is another level in my opinion.

One more episode of Travelers (yes, that's one l in Travlers!) left for me to watch and I thoroughly recommend it. Time travellers saving the world in a non-OTT sci-fi drama. It's so open where they go with it and the intrigue as to what's happening in the future is building nicely for season 2.

Only 12 episodes in season 1 so go watch it.

It's seriously good, I think he's absolutely knocked it out of the park with this season. I'm on track to finish it within 36 hours of starting.

Shaolin Soccer was added yesterday. It's probably the greatest film of all time. It might also be the worst, but it's definitely the best.

Selma was also added this week and is definitely worth watching.

Interesting to hear the hugely positive opinions of Master of None Season 2. As a big fan of the first season, I still liked it a lot but did not get on with the Italy "thread" that much - and found the first couple of episodes to be really quite weak. First Date, New york I love you and Thanksgiving were brilliant epsidoes though.

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmit season 3. I'm only on episode 2 but it's great. Titus Andromedon is so funny.

F Is for Family Season 2 is out on May 30th.

Amusing animated comedy set in the 70s about a typical American family. Bill Burr, Laura Dern, Justin Long and Sam Rockwell are the cast.

There's so much content on Netflix now that piracy only rarely seems worth the minimal effort it takes. HBO, Amazon stuff aside.
