Anti-British conspiracy. Can't resist rubbing it in.

@jonsaan ; Probably just a fan. No doubt he'd have given Bonnie the points had it been his choice.

But at least we got out of the bottom quarter! It's... progress, I guess.

After all that, for some reason it's Belgium's song that is stuck in my head. Probably from fear of him killing me in my sleep.

She's lying on the floor, and hopefully a steamroller will turn up!

@Dogme the other one was Belgium I think, who also spoke French.

And then they wonder why people think they're arrogant. Why do people resist common sense and not speak the language of the British Empire?
The united states of belgium have 3 official languages, dutch, french and german.
Therefore we alternate between the dutch and french speaking part to do the eurosong thing that year. It was the french community's turn and they present the points in french.

What a shame about Greece. Would have been great if they'd won.

A French entry in English?! It would cause the second French revolution.

Where's the after show thing with Sara Cox on? Mentioned it right at the end but I missed it.

The Resident Evil films. I'm one of the reasons they keep making them.

Thanks for giving us the 1 point UK! We really didn't deserve it though and I'm delighted we came last.

    Crappest submission from Ireland ever.

Preferred the Norway tune but the Danish singer was definitely the hottest.

Germany beat France, but was beaten by England...

I hope next time we'll send Sodom.

I've just read something about countries that censored the girl-on-girl kiss from Finland's entry being banned from Eurovision for the next three years...

    Pretty hefty if true.

Well, on Twitter, the countries being named are Azerbaijan and Turkey. Azerbaijan it seems just cut away from the kiss, where Turkey didn't even play the song apparently. Looking into it, anyway.

Edit; Here's a link to the Twitter account where I read it, anyway.

I guess we wait and see what happens. Seems harsh to me, but then, I agree with Graham Norton on this. "If it offends you... grow up." :)

Okay, muslim countries. Makes sense. Makes no sense actually, but I mean it's sadly what you might expect.

edit: what about the male kissing scene in the presenter's song about Sweden?

@DrStrangelove ; Well, the tweet reads, "Apparently countries that censored the gay kisses on #eurovision broke the rules, and won't be participating for 3 years!"

So it's probably the male kissing scene too. Anyway, if true it'll be in the news tomorrow/this week. Right now, bed time.

    Sleep well chaps and chapettes!

Fine, don't participate then. Although I feel sorry for sane people living in those countries.

Not sure how many sane people watch Eurovision though.

Haha, bloody hell. Some people/religion need to realise what year they're in.
