    I pre ordered because of the promotion. Probably wouldn't of bothered otherwise. As I have played it on the wii, was a good game ruined by stupid motion controls.

    So hoping this will be the best version.

    The lack of motion controls and portability of this made it an easy pre-order.

    I never got round to clocking it on Wii so am looking forward to replaying the levels I finished when this comes out.

    Thats the only reason I preordered it to be honest,although I do love the SNES originals. I've not played this on Wii.

    I already have luigis mansion so now its a toss up between which of Animal Crossing and Fire Emblem I want on my SD card. I'll probably get fire emblem to be honest because although I did used to like AC, unless it's significantly different to the DS one (which I doubt) I really dont want to pay off yet another mortgage and plant some flowers

    This is miles better than the SNES originals. A really well made game. I have heard on here though, that it's both easier and has frame rate issues on 3DS.

    The Wii version of this game is possibly the hardest game I have completed in a long time. (Made Dark Souls look really easy).

    I preordered it for the promotion too. Luigis Mansion I have already. Animal Crossing will be my download. I just need to choose my freebie.

    Not a Fire Emblem fan so it's between Castlevania and Lego for me.

    Anyway, Donkey Kong looks fun, and given the fact that I went for it without much anticipation it's bound to end up being the best out of all if them.

    I'm a castlevania fan but I don't like the sound of the new one. I thought it looked great at first but it seems to be more like that crappy Xbox live thing they made

    I preordered it - didn't get hugely far in the Wii one due to shit controls which made the difficulty level even more difficult. A version without the shit controls is a winner for me.

    I'm getting it just to get up to my free game entitlement, nothing else on the list interests me (already got fire emblem and luigis). Reckon I will redeem the club Nintendo code then trade DC straight in for credit towards Last of Us. Animal crossing will be my freebie.

    But the originals are absolutely fantastic games that still hold up to this day. Your post makes them sound terrible.

    Aye, the originals for me are stunning games, that i still play through and complete on a regular basis. The graphics still look ace today. Would put DKC 1 /2 in my top 5 games of all time. 'Love em

    Not sure whether to pick this up though, got the wii version, and for 30 quid? might wait for a price drop, if it ever gets one.

    Pre ordered this because of the promo too. Never played any DKC game before so am quite looking forward to it. £25 from Grainger Games seemed like a pretty good deal when I saw it on SavyGamer - if it's not my thing I'll sell it on and get most of my money back at that price.

    As for the promo, already had Luigi2, and this week took advantage of the Tesco "£5 off if you spend £30" deal and got MH3U for £25 - which I promptly opened, redeemed the Club Nintendo code, then sold on ebay for £29 less than 24 hrs later. Happy days, and a download version of Animal Crossing in a month's time that will owe me the princely sum of £2...

    On that subject - does anyone want a MacDonald Brothers CD?

    @Short-Round

    I hope you have better look than I did with flubit. I used them for a ps3 game and a game of thrones box set around 3 weeks ago. Not received either and not had a refund I was promised within 5 working days. (Its now been 8 working days since that lie)

    I know a few people that have had success with them. I've personally had a nightmare so won't use them again. I don't mind paying an extra few quid from a more reputable company.

    @joelstinton Despite what everyone seems to think. Nintendo games do drop in price, but only if you are willing to go second hand really.

    Kid Icarus is now sub 20 quid, 3D land is 22 and I got Mario tennis for about 15 quid.

    That's why, for me, the get one game free thing isn't a great deal. There's no way I will pay full price for games like Luigi and Fire Emblem. If you are patient, you'll get them for a lot less.

    Animal Crossing however.....I might pay full price for that...../salivates

    @jonsaan

    Why would you not pay full price for those games mate? They are both excellent.

    Mario Tennis is about right at 15, but the other two are worth double that, easily. Kid Icarus is as big as any AAA console game.

    Fair enough mate. I thought you meant it was because they didn't appeal. :)

    Nah. Not at all. All very appealing indeed. It's just I can't justify spending 120 quid on games when there is a giant hole in my back garden fence :) (insert whatever other monthly home problem needs fixing). I will no doubt own all those games over time, it's just by the time I get round to it they'll be cheaper anyway.

    Really looking forward to this now. Its getting good reviews. I never did finish the Wii version either. I remember getting to the mine cart levels and then nearly having a meltdown over some of them so kind of left it.

    Roll on next week :)

    Seems like there's a few of us waiting for Grainger Games to get this dispatched asap, can I ask has anyone here actually used them before? ;)

    I've bought from them. Has varied from next day delivery to 2-3 days. Started getting emails from them to say 'we're despatching this today' - so you may be waiting on one of those first.
