Can anyone recommend a good RPG on PC, i loved games like fallout 3/new vegas and oblivion/skyrim. Like all the elves, magic, gnomes and geeky stuff like that!

    Cheers

World of Warcraft or some of the "free to play" alternatives, like Tera, Rift and Guild Wars 2.

    Baldurs gate
    Icewind Dale

Those two will keep anyone busy for some time.

That's OK, I'm not using it anymore. Besides, you'll just get your hands dirty. /shrug

Dark Souls is highly recommended for a more action orientated RPG

While not elves and stuff any thread about good RPGs must include a mention of the KOTOR games.

    Baldur's Gate
    Icewind Dale
    Planescape: Torment
    Neverwinter Nights 2
    Dragon Age: Origins
    Drakensaang
    Gothic
    Morrowinind
    Two Worlds
    Risen 2
Rift (mmo, free to play to level 20)
    Knights of the Old Republic
    Fallout
    Fallout 2
    Arx Fatalis
    Legend of Grimrock

Off the top of my head, those are your best bets.

    Baldur's Gate 1/2
    Fallout 1/2
    Planescape Torment
    The Witcher 1/2
    Neverwinter Nights 1/2
    Dragon Age
    KotOR 1/2

They're all pretty essential if you've not played them. There are hundreds of decent RPG's on PC though, should be easy to find some.
