    Relevant to thread.

A strange game. The only winning move is not to play.

I don't think I'd even notice, seems to be permanently on my telly as it is. Bag o sh*te imo. There's the odd funny moment, but overall, not a fan.

Well apart from the fact that the BBT is utter fucking garbage.

Friends certainly had its moments. I say go for it. It couldn't be as shit as BBT or 2 Broke Girls etc

Reunion specials are usually quite fun, but they write themselves. A whole series puts much more pressure on the writing so it's much riskier.

They must all really want lots of cash.

Friends was amazing at the time and is terrible melodramatic schmaltzy tosh when you watch it now. Let it die.

    I'd love a reboot.

If you can read this you really need to fiddle with your forum settings.

Early BBT was great. Nerd jokes, doing nerd things. Then they all got supermodel girlfriends (minus Blossom) and they turned the biggest draw of the show into a complete cunt.

I disagree, I can still watch it now and get a least one or two genuine laughs from an episode. It'd agree it should be allowed to die though - the last series was kind of pish.

Pretty much what I thought at the time too tbh. It has its moments though, I'll give it that

Except it was one joke, repeated over and over. Sheldon is severely autistic, we get it lolololol. It really was and is fucking cheap joke telling under the guise of clever/nerdy because they drop reference halo now and then and paraphrase NS in a run up to every second joke. Hateful stuff, but everyone I know seems to love it.

Couldn't agree more. Its popularity is baffling to me. I think it's just part of the current trend where people who aren't geeks act like geeks because its cool.

I like the nerdy one who has poor social skills and the Jewish one with the overbearing mother. No wait, the Indian one with brightly coloured clothes. No wait, the sassy blonde one, who has less knowledge but more practical common sense and who shows them up, only occasionally their nerd solutions teach her a thing or two. So fresh, so original.

Does the Indian one have a long and unpronounceable last name? SO FUNNY.

It was really funny from seasons 2-4. This applies to both friends and bbt.

Actually yeah, I do. Sheldon has severe assburgers if you want to be specific.

So your issue with it is that it's a sitcom.

It's another one of those completely disposable programmes that is fine for background watching. Perfectly watchable yet nothing memorable ever happens and you never care if you miss it. It's hard to have any strong feelings about it.

Seinfeld is the king of sitcoms. There has never been anything better, and there never will be.

Episode 5 of our gaming podcast Open Source is a Gamescom Special. Check it out here!

The hate comes from it starting off with some promise, then seemed to just fall into a "we want Friends-lite" focus group hole.

Luckily this is the general consensus, so it's easy enough to avoid now.
