    @CosmicFuzz nope. Sly 4 is £19.99 on Vita *and* PS3. It's a strange one.

Finished the Temple of Rain on the bus to work this morning.

I should be tut-tutting at the amount of Mexican Meme jokes, but they are making me chuckle!

Some tricky platforming so far, although it doesn't punish you for falling to your doom repeatedly so I can dig it.

    Orly? That is odd indeed!

Did you know the original Xbox was to be free? We discuss it on our latest podcast.

Getting up the tree is a bit annoying.

    Excellent game.

Did anyone else take about 50 tries to get that chest in the temple? the one where there's a triangular bit at the start of the room.

1). In the tree, towards the top, how do i get the chest that's protected by a jump and red barbing?

2). In the Temple of War, how do i get past the lava pit?

I don't know when I will get around to playing this, but I played through the first couple of screens to just get a 'feel' for it. Looks great - can't wait to play it properly.

I don't know if it's the best way but I did a roll through then jumped and power fist thing-ed, to get high on the opposite wall, then double jumped over the horizontal ones and flying rolled (blocked?) through the last one. Hopefully that makes sense :)

I was trying that sort of combo but couldn't quite get it to land. :D

    I'll try again...

I'm really enjoying this so far. Just unlocked the ability to get into small places, which wasn't quite what I expected! :)

You'll get it H1ggy, if I can then anyone can!

@chub, sometimes I use that 'ability' when just running about because it's so good :D

Really enjoying Guacamelee - I've beaten the first boss, and just got to the Tule Tree area (think that's what it's called). Love the visual style and the music, and the combat is surprisingly good fun as well.

Getting the ability to shift between the to plains of reality makes the platforming far for interesting and thoughtful.

I've got the final boss and stopped because I can't be bothered with dying 57 times in trying to beat it. The difficulty level towards the end of the game significantly reduces the fun but otherwise I've enjoyed the game.

Edit: Beaten the boss now, it's just a tedious case of learning animations.

I am confused.. I'm sure there are parts where the final move I need it just makes a bleep noise and doesn't pull it off. Is that def because I fkd up or is it blocking that part from me?

I've found that, now. Also seems to stop you double jumping when it doesn't want you to.

After a marathon session Wednesday, think it'll be short bursts now as it's a bit annoying.

Well, I absolutely loved that. Will have a break then go again on hard mode, which I never do.

Sly is an amazing, brilliant game. If it continues to be as inventive (I've just started the third area) it will likely be my favourite game on Vita.

Playing that and EDF at the moment. EDF is so, so, so worth the new price, it's faantastic! I haven't even seen some of the problems mentioned and the game is so damn fun to play and has a HUGE amount of content. I'm about 5% done after 7+ hours play.

I'm playing with Turtle Beach M5s now which also improve the Vita experience 2x at least. I would have got them earlier if I knew what a difference they would make. Although I should have since I own PX5s, lol.

Finding this game a lot more frustrating that Mutant Blobs. The controls are a lot more fiddly, especially once you've got the dimension shift thing going on, and I'm finding myself in situations where I'm not entirely clear what I'm trying to do. It's also harder than Blobs, and I'm a wuss, so there's that as well.

@aros - Sly is seriously good. And the inventiveness continues though the game :)

It's harder than blobs absolutely, but not sure I agree with fiddly. There's nothing wrong with the controls at all, it's just quite difficult and the puzzles sometimes require some thought.

I loved Mutant Blobs, but I think this is even better and more original. Some genius ideas for puzzles and gameplay I've not seen before.

Finished it over the weekend. Everygame to have Crossbuy and Crosssave please!

So I take it there's a hidden ending if you get all the orbs? I have the Tule Tree one and the Rancho de Pollo (probably named that wrong) so far.
