    Apparently so.

    http://www.disinfo.com/2013/02/chinas-massive-eugenics-project-to-choose-high-iq-embryos/

Reminds me of the intro to Deus Ex talking about ethical inflexibility holding back progress.

Aren't all the Chinese folk running about now just hiding in plain sight until they get the go ahead from HQ to take over round the world. They do seem keen on Ice Cream, could we control them with different flavours of Ice Cream?

If anyone is likely to start WWIII, it's more likely to be America.

Surely intelligence is amongst the last things you need in a warrior?

The disinfo webpage is not currently blocked by the Great firewall of China but it also will not load either.

They should make an army of hot Chinese sexbots, while everyone is distracted fucking some sideways dim sum pussy they can invade the US and open a chain of novelty rubber vomit stores all over the eastern seaboard.

    Especially in China.

The gov there tries to keep the entire nation stupid through design, the last thing they want is for them to create soldiers that can think or they've created several million deadly revolutionaries.

    Utter bollocks.

    @twelveways

I can only read about 20 characters. And my speaking vocabulary is also very poor. I am slowly learning more as I visit.

    I just wrote:

The only thing China will be fighting is itself. The regime can't force "unity" upon the vast array of different groups that make up the state indefinitely. Especially as inequality continues to sky rocket.

I love the leap from researching DNA to creating a super soldier army for WW3, the OP has a bright future ahead of them in tabloid journalism.

A picture of the Chinese super-soldier.

Not super intelligent, just able to breathe the atmosphere as China tries to create Nu Earth with their pollution levels.

There has actually been a ratrher large increase of incidents where members of the public have attacked the chengguan (people in charge of making sure city laws are followed like illegal trading etc), one even got killed the other week. The thing is though that the amount of support that the attackers get is huge.

I reckon they are on their way to revolution (or attempted revolution at least).

Check out chinasmack.com if you want to know how the 'netizens' of China think. Be warned, some of it is very disturbing, especially the foreigner penis envy.

I heard about plane passengers beating up an airline steward recently, and getting away with it, but that's more about cultural tensions between hong kongers and mainland chinese I heard.

There's nothing worse than students talking about war and military matters, any students talking now should swiftly leave this forum.
